HIDDEN TRUTH

It seemed like mom has forgotten healthy eating ethics because she was talking none stop. She was giving Audrey rules and guidelines on what too and too not do. Apparently she and her husband had an emergency office trip in country B that they couldn't miss out so she wanted Audrey to promise to be in her best conduct and also told her nanny to keep a close eyes on her. She summoned the maids and the butler telling them that she would be away for a while so they should still take good care of her house and they shouldn't fail to continue to silently do their duties.

When will you be back the butler asked, yes mum that's actually true when are you guys coming back. My dear Audrey it's an emergency meeting so we don't even know what's the course of it but we do know its urgent and I'll be late if I don't take my leave now the purpose of my travelling in the first place will be fruitless. She then shot a look at the butler which spelt “dont ask stupid questions in front of my child”. She then dismissed them asking the maid to bring her box from the master room.

The door bell rang and the butler went to get it. Who are you? the butler politely asked. I'm Educator Josh, Audrey's hometutor. Let him in Becca said walking towards the front door. Long time no see she said smiling towards Josh and look Rosa is all grown up now.

Long time? mom did you know him before now Audrey said but shut herself up when she realized that her Educator was the man she ran away from at the beach. She pleaded with her eyes for the man to pretend not to know her and he understood the assignment.

And I guess you are Miss Audrey Sinclair. Hello, I'm your home tutor he said and this is my niece Rosa Linn. Nice to meet you Rosa, Audrey said noticing a bit of resemblance between her and Rosa Linn which greatly disturbed her. The only difference was that the colour of her eyes was blue and that of Rosa was brown and Rosa's hair was trimmed down which was disturbing to Audrey because she remembered the girl at the beach whose hair fell down her waist.

Audrey, Becca called out for the third time. Do you not know it is rude to look at visitors like that without offering them a seat. I shall take my leave now. She walked towards Audrey and kissed her forehead and also turned towards Rosa and did the same. She then nodded at the tutor and smiled.

Mom isn't fund of children especially those that aren't rich so why kiss a child she knows not of come to think of it she said long time no see when my tutor came in. Did she know them beforehand. Why does she look like me or am I just hallucinating she said looking at her nanny while telling her her observations doing her lunch break. My darling Audrey, you are such a critical thinker she said trying not to laugh too much. Your mom was in a hurry to leave she probably didn't even think about what she was saying and for the peck how do you think poor Rosa would have felt if your mom only pecked you and acted like she was not existent.

That would not have been nice Audrey said facing the floor so it is what it is I guess. You should be trying to get to know your classmate and not overthinking little things. Yes nanny Audrey said you are the best. No no no I am not the best, Becca is. Why don't you ever take credits isn't it I who gets to decide who is best for me not you or Mom Audrey said smiling as she mischievously went back inside the mansion to continue her lessons.

Ok so Rosa Linn was a very smart girl and Audrey noticed it. She was so happy about that because she didn't like it when a teacher started to break down solutions just for slow learned student to understand but at least both her and Rosa Linn were intelligent and fast Learners.

In just thirty minutes they were able to solve a whole chapter of complex mental sum questions and each of them got it correctly but failed a question at exactly the same point which was alarming. Josh said it's like they both reasoned similarly. The correction was done and their mistakes were easily identified and corrected.

They still had thirty more minutes to play time so their tutor decided to ask them to talk about themselves. He asked Audrey to start first but she pleaded that Rosa to take the lead insisting that she was older so she might as well just talk first.

Rosa chuckled and how am I older. I am only but seven years old and you think am older than you. It doesn't matter Audrey said rolling her eyes. Wait, did you just say you are seven. Yes, I did say that. How old do you think I look because some say I am older than my age while others say I look ageless. Rosa sure did know how to lighten the atmosphere with her jokes but Audrey was picking every single word that she spoke.

ooh please do y'all really think I'm this stupid Audrey cried out. My brothers died on my so called perfect birthday. I unintentionally saw Rosa and her uncle on my brothers burial. Wait a moment, they were both dressed in black I just didn't notice that because I was drowned in pain but now it's crystal clear. Mom said long time no see when my so called tutor that she met online came this morning. Dad left early hours of the morning and didn't see any reasons to kiss his princess goodbye and now a seven year old girl who clearly has a bit of resemblance with me except if you all are too blind to see it.

For crying out loud what is going on here I'm seven not stupid, I've grown up with grown ups Making daily decisions. I've been thought discipline even in my house if not I won't be wearing this but I am.
