THE DINNER

AJ P.O.V

I was beginning to catch feelings for Audrey but I wasn't sure if she felt the same. I was able to fake date her I less than the give time but will I be able to keep the fake relationship. I feel that she'll get bored and stop the pretence but I didn't want it to stop. I've obviously lost my mind, seeing her in the arms of Evans brought back anger in me. I loved Audrey and I wanted her to be mine so badly. I made up my mind to confess this to her that evening when she'll come.

I also knew that I'll have to explain to her why I leave in such a big house all alone and just then I remembered the dare I couldn't tell her about that. It will obviously break her knowing that the reason I met her in the first place was because of a stupid dare, I would have to ensure that Evans and the rest of the guys keep their mouth shut besides what was Evans up too.

I started having strange feelings that Evans will tell Audrey about the dare of maybe Leo would foolishly tell Rosa something because they have been seeing each other a lot lately. No, I must tell Audrey first.

AUDREY'S P.O.V

After I, Leo and Rosa left the class I excused myself to go to the rest room. I quickly reapplied my lipgloss and brushed my hair. When I was done I decided to go eat lunch but I had to get something from my locker first. On getting there Evans approached me in a weird but friendly tone. He greeted me and told me he had something to tell me which made my ears itch.

The news broke my heart. He told me that Leo started dating Rosa all because of a dare. I was very upset but he told me to please keep it low key that he was just telling me this because we are old friends. I seized the opportunity to ask him why he had been acting rude towards me and Rosa but he didn't reply instead he came closer and held my waist and then he whispered watch your back before leaving. On turning I noticed Angelo was coming my direction so I started walking away from him. He shouted my name which made me freeze.

I could perceive jealousy but why was that because he didn't care about me.

He asked what Evans told me and I honestly wanted to tell him this but I didn't see the need to tell him. Probably he already knew about that. He trashed the topic by apologizing for not chatting me up last night and promised to make it up to me by inviting me to his house this evening which I wanted to oppose but remembering that my mom won't be around made say an instant yes. Don't get me wrong. Mom has no problem with me going fore a date but in his house was a different thing but he's parents would be there so what's the big deal.

It was almost time but I was still having a wardrobe disaster and I didn't want to bother Rosa. Obviously I told her what Evans told me but she laugh saying she already knew that Leo already explained it to her and she forgave him.

I was so shocked by her reply but I didn't want to stress it so I let it be.

Rosa walked in my room and saw me looking like a weeping widow. Yes that's right I looked so tired and upkept but my baby girl dressed me up. She neatly styled my hair and gave me a light makeup and also made me try out five different outfit for her to choose for me.

According to her since it was a house dinner I shouldn't look too much but also not too less so I ended up wearing a lilac sundress and a wedged shoe. I wont lie I resembled a flower especially because of the scrunchie that Rosa used to pack my hair it had a bow attached to it.

Rosa offered to drop me off at his place since I was too scared to drive.

AJ's house was like a mansion and I couldn't wait to meet his parents but most especially I wanted to understand or ascertain my position In his life.

Being a fake girlfriend isn't an easy task after all. Rosa told me to give her a call whenever I feel like going home but I told her to not mind since AJ already promised to bring me back.

I carefully walked to the front pouch and pressed the door bell it was pretty loud but no one responded. Surely this house was supposed to have a butler and maids also. I noticed the door wasn't locked so I let myself inside. Believe you me the house felt kind of familiar to me. It was like I've been there before. I shrugged and heard a noisy coming from the kitchen so I went there and there he was shirtless and it seemed like he was the one cooking.

The moment he noticed me I turned backwards which made him giggle. He teased me by calling shy and I obviously lied that I wasn't so he walked towards me and held my waist from behind. Immediately I felt chills rolling down my spine. He came closer and whispered in my ear ‘If beauty was a crime u'll would be sentenced to life imprisonment’. My cheeks turned bright red and I remained silent as his breathe heated my neck. My stomach made a noise which screamed hunger. Angelo said he willhave to satisfy my hunger. So he told me to follow him so he could set the table but I remembered he was still not wearing a shirt so I begged him to put on his shirt but he refused to do that so I had no choice than to just turn and gracious heaven he was built. I didn't want to look like a freek so I quite staring at him. He lifted me up and I sat on the counter and then he served me spaghetti and meatballs and it was very delicious. I had to ask him to be sincere about who cooked the meal if it was him or his mom.

He stared at his meal for about five seconds before he looked at me and told me he's mom couldn't have possibly cooked it since she was dead. On hearing about his mom's death I didn't know when I came down from the counter and hugged the shirtless guy standing in front of me. When I realized what I had just done I became uncertain if I had just opened old wounds but he assured me that he had already healed. I relunctantly asked him about his dad and if possible his siblings but I noticed a sort of closure in his body language so I kept quiet waiting for him to speak. He just said that he wants to get his shirt so we could go outside and then he'll tell me everything. I honestly didn't mind so I nodded my head.

He was about leaving the kitchen when he turned and asked me how I would react if I found out that a guy dated my friend because of a dare. I asked him if Evans told him too but he looked confused so I explained to him that Evans told me that Leo and Rosa started dating all because of a dare and how Rosa reacted nonchalant towards it but had it been me reverse would be the case.
