UNWELCOMED VISITOR

He kissed her on her forehead and she briefly savored his minty breath,

She got out of his car and waved him goodbye. After he left, she went upstairs to her apartment, only for her to find Ben sitting on the staircase that led to her apartment.

With raised brows, “what are you doing here Ben?”

When she got to the door, she was surprised to see Ben standing with a bouquet of roses in his hand. The sight just made her mood cranky. “Wh… what are you doing here? How do you even know my apartment? Who gave you my address? Huh?”

“Relax! I don’t mean any harm, I’m here to surprise you.

Since that day, we kissed at the club. It has been impossible for me to stop thinking about you. You blow my mind Linda, let me be your man, I promise to take care of you”. He said with a smile on his face, holding the bouquet with one hand while his other hand was in his pocket.

“Okay! Please go, I’ll see you later”. She was afraid of bringing him in inside her apartment, she remembered how he took advantage of the fifteen seconds at the party, he had smooched her butt so roughly, and she had only endured everything, not wanting to start over. The time seemed longer in her head, as though it would last for eternity, but she endured.

Now, he is standing with roses in front of her apartment and at this time? She quickly thought of what to do, but no plan was coming to her head. The way Ben stood at her door made her feel cold and uneasy. She opened the door and entered and quickly tried to shut the door behind her, but Ben overpowered her as he pushed himself in.

Inside, she turned angrily at Ben,” What do you think you’re doing? Are you silly or something?”

“Hey! Pretty! I’m silly!,” he said, while rubbing his jaw. What do you really want from me, Ben?

“I told you what I want, I want to be your man. Just give me a chance and I promise I’ll treat you right”

“You must be out of your mind… I thought you had a girlfriend. Why are you pestering me? What the… what about Victoria? Is she not your girlfriend? Just leave me the hell alone!. I don’t want you. OKAY?”

“Victoria won’t be a problem, I will handle her myself and, besides, I can have as many women as I want. Now, I want you. Why don’t you give me a chance? Don’t prove hard to get with me, else you won’t like the outcome.” He said, collapsing on the couch.

“Linda felt disgusted at his words. Are you threatening me now? What do you really take me for? Huh? Do I look like an item that you can purchase anytime you want? I don’t care if you want many girls at once. That is not my problem just get the hell out of my house, she said, screaming on top of her lungs.”

“Do you want it the hard way, baby girl? I’m gentle with you, you should just accept without giving a damn. Do you know how many ladies want to be with me? I came to you on a platter of gold and yet you act this way? Don’t make me get angry, pretty, you won’t like that part of me. Whatever Ben wants, Ben gets. Don’t forget that.”

Linda went straight to the door and opened it widely, gesturing for him to get out, but he sat there on the couch without making any move.

“Get out before I scream my lungs out and create a scene or do you want me to involve the police?” She said, pointing at the door.

“Okay! Okay… okay, I will go now. I don’t want to stress you my love, and I don’t want you to be angry. I’m not threatening you either. I will go now, but just know we are not done yet.” he said, trying to act cool.

When he eventually left, she quickly locked the door behind him and checked through the window and realized he had already entered his car and drove off. She heaved a sigh of relief and sat on the chair.
