I managed to leave campus without being seen. Since Ryland wouldn’t be home until after seven and Ben and Lola were heading out straight after classes for a date, I would be having dinner alone. I planned to stop for some Chinese food because I don’t like cooking for one. Also, I would pick something up for Ryland to have when he came home from work.
I called the Chinese to place my order on the way to the restaurant, saving me some waiting time. My bag was heavy with all the textbooks and work I had to take back and forth. The sooner I can get rid of my bag, the better.
I arrived, picked my order up and paid for it, heading home. I dumped my bag on the floor, changing out of my clothes and into some sweats. I would have a bath later, cause right now, all I wanted to do was eat. I
