Chapter Fourteen Blaze Knock! Knock! I poured the coffee in my cup and sipped the crisp, fresh, lightly sweetened drink I needed to function every morning. I checked my watch to see who could be here at my house knowing I had work right now. Knock! Knock! I put the cup down, strolled to the door, and peeked through the window, a surprised expression marring my face. I unlocked the door and opened to her smiling with a bag in her hand. “Ava.” “Hi, Blaze.” “What are you doing here?
