A day later.
Blaze opened the door of his lab, scanned his badge, and let me walk through security in front of him as I admired the size of his building. Newton Industries sat on a lot of acres. The building was white and brown, with the logo of Newton Industries in black on top. At least three stories high with a large parking lot blocks from universities.
“This is beautiful.”
“Thanks.”
“How long have you had this building?”
“A few years. I plan on opening another one.”
Blaze pushed the button for the elevator.
“What floor is your office on?”
“The top floor. We have four floors.”
The elevator door chimed, we hopped on, and he stepped behind me and hugged me around the waist, burying his face in my neck.
“We can't do this on the elevator.”
