At the party, someone slipped my boyfriend, Austin, a roofie.

I urged him to go to the hospital for a checkup.

He shoved me away, his eyes burning with desire.

"No, Sarah, I need a release. Holding it in is bad for my health. Don't you understand?"

Just then, a younger girl from our department volunteered to "sacrifice" herself to help him.

So, I watched them head to a hotel.

When we met again, Austin, who was now my ex-boyfriend, sneered at me.

But the moment he saw the underclassman beside me, his expression turned dark.

"Who is he?" he demanded.

I smiled, "My cure."

Chapter 1
Austin Hayes was drugged. The corners of his eyes were bloodshot, and his hands were clenched into tight fists. He looked like he was struggling desperately to hold it in. It was my first time dealing with something like this. Panicked and at a loss, I helped him up, intending to lead him outside. "Don't worry, I'm taking you to the hospital right now." Austin was nearly 6'3'', making it incredibly difficult for me to support him. With just a slight shrug, he easily pulled away from me. I looked up at him in confusion. "What's wrong?" I asked instinctively. Austin didn't look at me. Leaning against the wall, he said stiffly, "I'm not going." I figured he was trying to be a hero like some male lead in a romance novel, thinking he could just tough it out with a cold shower. I immediately objected, "Austin, don't be stubborn. Seeking help doesn't make you weak." But something I said must have triggered him. "Sarah, I'm a man! I need a release, do you understand?" Austin's voice suddenly spiked. It was the first time he had ever snapped at me. Stunned for a moment, I was about to explain that we should go to the hospital first, and if all else failed, he still had me. But then, a timid voice came from behind. "Austin, I'm willing to help you. I've never been with anyone before. Will you give me a chance?" It was Cindy Jones, a younger girl from our department who had been trailing after Austin. Upon hearing that, I should have claimed my territory. But somehow, my throat felt like it was stuffed with cotton, and I couldn't utter a single word. Deep down, I probably wanted to see Austin's reaction. I wanted to watch him utterly reject her. I wanted to see him choose me without a second thought. But reality dealt me a crushing blow. Austin gestured with his finger for the timid girl to come closer. She obediently stepped forward without hesitation. He easily pulled her into his arms. He pinched the back of her neck like he was playing with a kitten, tilting her head up to kiss her. His intentions were painfully clear. "Austin!" I couldn't hold it back anymore and called out his name. Tears welled in my eyes; I must have looked pathetic. Austin paused. But he only lazily lifted his gaze, looking at me with total indifference. "What?" I didn't beg him to stay. Instead, I simply asked, "Do you even know what you're doing?" Hearing this, Austin let out a sudden sneer. His face contorted with suppressed desire as he sneered, "Sarah, don't be so selfish. You're the one who refused to help me, so don't blame me." And indeed, I was no longer willing. In the next second, Austin captured Cindy's lips, and they began making out passionately. The silent crowd instantly erupted. "What a snob. Look what happened—her boyfriend's got a new girl now." "Exactly. Everyone was just joking when they called her untouchable, and she actually believed it." "Haha, she literally drove her own boyfriend away." "Is she from the last century? Who still clings to those outdated ideas about purity these days?" The surrounding noise was deafening, but I couldn't hear a thing. I stared numbly at the two of them wrapped around each other. It felt as though the world had lost all color, and everything before me blurred into a dull gray. By the time I snapped back to reality, Austin had pulled away from Cindy. He looked utterly satisfied, completely forgetting that he even had a girlfriend. Arm in arm, they prepared to leave. Through the haze, I heard Austin ask in a raspy voice, "Got your ID with you?" Cindy blushed crimson and gave a bashful nod. Seeing them about to leave, I took three quick strides and blocked their path. Austin stopped, looking at me with a smirk as if he had expected this all along. "What? Regretting it now?"
