DEATH.

Just like how name implies, he is the one who oversee all the deaths of the universe. Unlike his name, he is quite noble and just. He is also quite fashionable; unlike his subordinates, he always wears royal clothes and suits.

He also seats at a higher position than the planetary gods like Luminous and the Dark lord.

He only took orders from the absolute being alone… or it was supposed to be like that…

During this time, the inside of the arena was secluded by a dark barrier from the people.

“Hey, long time no see, DEATH!”

“AHAHAHA!! Didn’t grandpa notify you?? I descended here three years ago, he finally let me go”

Fil and DEATH is quite close to each other because DEATH was one of the those who taught and played with him back in the divine realm.

“AHAHAHA!! Well don’t sweat on the small details. I just did what I think is right and send those who are already beyond redemption to you.”

Clearing all his doubts and suspicion for the past three years, DEATH let out a big sigh.

“And what if that was the case??”

DEATH was starting to get angry but then, Fil retracted his words.

“HAHA! I’m just kidding, I’m just kidding! Don’t get angry…”

Fil then clears his throat and formally talk to DEATH.

“I called you here to asks you a favor!”

“Oho?? Are you threatening me, Filius Cael?? You should also know the consequences of that action *grin*”

A sudden silence was created between them for a moment.

“HAHA! You got that right! …….

Now, I want you to spare this woman behind me and also, can you give me some “life force bank”

I want to revive her…”

Hearing his demands, DEATH was surely surprise. He didn’t think that the Filius Cael that he knew will go to this extent to revive a mortal. To him, its like seeing a monkey speak human language for the first time. It is simply… Bizarre!

“Yes! I am!”

Fil confidently answered.

“R-really?? then-“

“Condition??”

DEATH asks while looking around.

Fil then swings his right hand and prevent the sounds of their voice to reach Fionna and the others.

“I-I am doing this to know myself better!! And this woman is one of the important pieces needed in doing it!”

Fil said while making a beet red face.

Seeing this, DEATH once more look around and his eyes notices Fionna.

DEATH then handed the life force bank to Fil.

The life force bank is a bottle that contains excess life force. Dead people sometimes possess more life force even after they die. Shinigami’s then extracted these excess life force and put it on a very special bottle. Thus, it is called life force bank.

“You have my thanks DEATH!! …I’ll try to lighten your work next time hehe…”

They both laugh after that.

Then DEATH once again asks Fil.

Fil then nodded in return.

“You think so??”

>

Fil looks at DEATH with seriousness in his eyes.

“*Grin* I hope so too”

“Yeah, me too, it is quite nice to see an old face after three years…”

With that, the gate quickly vanishes and the cold wind retracted from everyone.

Fil then invited Fionna and the others to come closer and welcomed their mother’s return.

He then poured the life force bank’s contents into Victoria’s body.

Upon doing so, the red strings of fate suddenly multiply and covers Victoria’s whole body.

She then floats and her body emitted a blinding light.

After a while, the light suddenly vanishes.

Victoria slowly goes down and slowly open her eyes.

“Wh-why am I?? I thought I already died?? Is this the afterlife??”

While being bewildered in her surroundings, Jake and Fionna suddenly hugs her so tightly.

They then cried and spoke.

“”Mother!!!!””

“This is not the afterlife and you are not dead!”

Fionna said.

“That’s right!! Sir Fil here revive you by asking DEATH himself!!”

Jake added.

Hearing their claims made Victoria even more confuse.

Then sire Gilbert approaches them and tried to explain what had happened in details.

After a while, queen Victoria approaches Fil and talk to him.

“F-Fil-donno…”

She then suddenly bows her head in front of Fil.

“…lowering your head in front of a stranger is not a good action of a queen you know??”

“No, this is just right for you are the one who gave me a second chance to be with my love ones again… lowering my head to my benefactor is just the right thing to do…

Fil-donno, I am forever grateful for what you did!! Asks anything if you like, I will gladly grant it if it is within my power!”

The queen’s words made it easier for Fil to asks the thing that he originally came in Berg for.

But then suddenly, dark aura emitted all over Jakes body… his eyes became completely dark and he suddenly grabs the sword lying close to him and rushes to the queen while shouting,

“VICTORIA!!!”

*Togggssshh!!*

Fil grab and break the sword while forcing jake to sleep by tapping the back of his head.

Fil then swings his right hand.

“⸢DENY⸥”

The black aura completely vanishes into thin air.

“J-Jake!! Can’t you be more gentle Fil! This kid has a frail body you know!”

Fionna complain.

“S-sorry, but be at ease, I already lifted the curse in his body… it seems that it was trigger by strong resentment towards the queen.”

“It was probably the work of Vesta… sigh! It seems that even at death, he still holds grudge against me, even though I don’t know the cause of it…”

Massaging her forehead, the queen said.

“I-I see…”

Then the people slowly see what is happening within the arena.

“Wh-what just happen??”

“I don’t know, I just felt a sudden chill”

“Hey look!! Isn’t that the queen?? She alive!!!”

“Hey listen up everyone!!! Her majesty, queen Victoria is not dead!! She’s alive and very well!!”

The whole arena begins to get louder again.

The queen waves at her citizen and gave them a speech.

“My dear subjects!! I am glad that you are all safe and sound. Even though the weight of what happens really took us by surprise and many of you were injured and some even lost their life to protect the kingdom.

I am here to proudly announce that the threat to our kingdom has been completely annihilated!!

I want to congratulate everyone especially the knights and the adventurers for a job well done!!”

The citizens and the warriors including the knights and adventurers let out a loud shout and war cry. You can feel from it their happiness and gratefulness.

“And now, I would like to take this opportunity to announce that one individual has played a major role in our victory over this catastrophe!!!

Everyone, I am here to introduce you to our main savior!! Fil-donno!!”

Everyone was quiet for a moment. Then little by little,

“Hey, isn’t that “weird clothes Fil”???”

“Y-yeah! That’s him, although his clothes were torn off, I can still recognize him!”

“Y-yeah, his fight against the princess herself were very amazing to watch!! He really is strong!!”

“Everyone!! All cheers to weird clothes Fil!!”

Then everyone followed and cheers filled with Fil’s name echoed in the whole arena.

After that, the queen ordered everyone to participate in rebuilding all that was ruined.

The repairs of the kingdom lasted for only a week thanks to the joint efforts of the knights, adventurers, and ordinary citizens.

Fil didn’t use his power to help them fix the houses, roads, and walls because it would be too weird for everyone to witness something extraordinary.

The people might get scared by it or they might worship Fil.

For Fil, either of the two is quite bad.

During those days, Fil and MINFI became honored guest in the castle.

Fil then uses this time to taste Berg’s food because he didn’t have the chance to due to his busy schedule.

During the morning and the afternoon, Fil then accompany Fionna to practice using the silver moon. Their relationship during this time became closer and Fionna got the chance to get a glimpse on Fil’s personality.

-He is quite unpredictable, sometimes he acts like he doesn’t care at all, sometimes he gave off this ruthless vibe, and even sometimes he acts like he really cares and he is very sweet… sigh! I can guess now why this man manage to stole my heart…-

Upon realizing what she just thinks, she blushes again and turn around to not let Fil notice it.

After the rebuilding has finished. The queen then summons Fil in front of all the officials in the kingdom.

Jake and Fionna is seated in both sides of the queen.

To show respect and to avoid angering the nobles, Fil kneeled in front of the queen.

The queen seems to be bothered by it because it is quite unfavorable for the one who saves her life to kneel before her. But she then realizes that this act is just right in their situation right now.

Clearing her throat, the queen spoke.

“You may now rise, Fil-donno…

I summon you here today to show everyone here, the man who excels the most in protecting the kingdom from the threat of the magic beasts and the four kings a week ago…”

The nobles began to thoroughly look at Fil from head to toe.

Almost all of them has nothing to say because Fil doesn’t look like and act like a commoner at all. Some of them were hoping he is one to somehow humiliate him in front of everyone. But they gradually perish the thought.

During this time, MINFI is invisible to everyone.

-[Young master, the look at their eyes is piercing me… can I kill them??]-

-Calm down MINFI, we came here to officially ask the queen regarding what you told me about the key-

-[……sigh! As you wish, young master]-

Viscount Alco Pata tried to belittle Fil but he was mercilessly shot down by sire Gilbert and the queen. Saying that he has no right to say such things on Fil because he himself just hide the entire time when the whole kingdom is in peril.

Continuing to what she is saying, the queen brings up the matter of rewards to Fil. She told everyone that she already gave her word to Fil to asks whatever he wishes and she will grant it as long as it is within her power. This action may seem to be reckless for everyone but the queen’s decision is already irrevocable.

“Now then. Fil-dono, what is it you wish to asks of me?? is it my daughter’s hand in marriage??”

Fionna immediately shows her embarrassment after hearing the queen’s remark. Her blushing face made everyone in the queen’s chamber dumbfounded for that is the first time they saw their very prideful and scary princess to make such a girly reaction.

Holding that thought, the nobles then muttered. However, Jake suddenly stands up amidst of all of it.

He then walks towards Fil and stand in front of him. After that, he turns around and face the queen.

“M-mother!! I have something I wish to asks”

“Y-yes!! what is it my dear??”

Startled by his shout, the queen impatiently replied.

“I wish to asks of your permission for me to be lord Fil’s student and strive to become stronger under his wing!!”

Everyone was in complete silent after hearing that, even Fil was very surprise in Jakes actions.

-[It seems that you don’t need to asks the queen anymore young master??]-

-Y-yeah, now, that is really surprising…

Very well then, I shall comply to his wish-

Fil then speaks to the queen.

“Your majesty… if this is what the prince wants then this shall become the wish that I will ask you…

Please allow me to bring him into my home and teach him all I know… and I promise that Prince Jake will come back here stronger than ever!”

All the noble were astonished by Fil’s claim. But not everyone took his words into heart, they just can’t raise their disagreement because of the queen.

“Is this really your wish sir Fil??”

The queen suspiciously asks.

“Yes, your majesty.”

Jake then turns to Fil and kneeled.

“Thank you very much lord Fil, I shall mark this day as one of my most memorable day in my life!!”

“Hmmm! And your majesty??”

“Yes?? Is there anything else Fil-dono??”

“Actually, yes… I shall take this opportunity now that every leader of this kingdom is all here…

I am not from Berg… I am a what you can call… Um…eto… the best word for this kind of world is…ah! That’s right! I am an otherworlder!”

Everyone was very worried after hearing that. One of the nobles said,

“M-my queen, i-is what he is saying true??”

The queen looks at the noble for a moment then turn her gaze towards Fil.

“Fil-dono… what do you mean??”

“It is just like what you heard your majesty, I am not a human of this world…

But fear not for I have revealed this fact to you all today to prove to you that I come in peace…

Earlier, you said to me that I shall wish anything as long as it is within your power *grin*”

Then one of the nobles argued Fil.

“B-but! her majesty already granted your wish!! And that is to take the prince to your world… you really got us there otherworlder!!”

But then queen suddenly commanded the noble to shut up for a moment.

“Very well, I shall grant you another wish Fil-dono given all the things that you’ve done for this kingdom… speak! What is your other wish??”

Fil grins at the queen before voicing his request.

“I shall ask you to form an alliance with my world!!”

All the noble said “Wha???” in unison.

The queen was taken unexpectedly by Fil’s wish. She thought that he will demand her to surrender to him the kingdom without struggling given that he came from another world. If that was the case, then she has no choice but to comply because if it wasn’t for Fil, the kingdom would’ve already been destroyed.

But Fil actually does the opposite of what she is thinking. Forming an alliance with such a strong individual is a blessing for Glacier. So, the queen agrees.

Some of noble then raises their disagreement and some agrees with the queen’s decision. This event has turn into a debate happen between them. It lasted for almost an hour until they come into conclusion.

The queen and her supporters manage to convince those who opposes Fil’s proposal. However, they set up some condition as an assurance for those who still don’t trust Fil.

Despite the slight struggle, Fil is quite happy and satisfied because all things went to what just pictured in his mind.

Fil then announces that three days from, he will open an official gate between Glacier and his world, Elemento.

He then said to the queen that he plans to erect the gate in Crysty village because he wants to boost the number of protections of the village as well as its popularity and population. He wanted to make Crysty village a tourist attraction.

The queen then agrees to it.

Three days have passed. Queen Victoria and princess Fionna have come to Crysty village to bid farewell to Jake and Fil.

Fionna finally reunited with Rian.

“Waha!! Big sister Fio!! I’m so glad to see you again”

Rian said while running towards Fionna and hug her.

“I am glad to see you well, Rian *smile*”

Fionna cheerfully replied.

After a moment of reunion, Fil then asks everyone.

“Now then! Shall I start??”

They all nodded in response.

“⸢GATE: ELEMENTO; PERMANENT⸥!!”

A large luxurious looking gate erected from the ground. It has the size of a five-story house and as wide as the main gate of the capital which measures approximately ten meters.

“Now then, I shall return after I made some preparation for your visit”

Normally, otherworlders cannot set foot on Elemento simply because their body will not be able to adapt to its environment. That’s why Fil is preparing something in order for Fionna and the queen to be able to visit Elemento and see it with their own eyes.

He only made exemption of Jake, Rian. Because their circumstances if urgent. He made MINFI the order to use her power to support them. Continuously releasing one’s magical aura is very stressful but MINFI has no choice but to comply. Moreover, to her, washing the dishes is more stressful that this.

“Until next time Fionna *smile*”

“Um… mm!! see you soon, Fil *smile*”

Seeing the sparks between them, the queen jokingly teases Fionna.

“Ehem!! It seems that spring finally comes for my tomboyish daughter… can I expect to see my grandchildren in near time??”

“M-mother!!”

Fionna blushingly replied.

Then, a few moments after, Fil open the gate and they all enters it.

Jake closes his eyes before entering and when he opens them. A great scenery welcomes him. all views are all new to his eyes… and when he looks at both of his side, there he saw two enormous individual standing before the gate.

The two then kneeled by the sight of Fil.

Together they spoke.

[[Welcome back!! Lord Filius]]

Fil then looks at the two kids.

“Jake! Rian! Welcome to ELEMENTO!!!”
