Chapter 1 Whose Child Are You Carrying?
"Miss , due to your physical condition, we cannot perform an abortion for you."
Taking the examination report that would ultimately determine her fate from the doctor, Luna stumbled out of the hospital.
She ran all the way to an abandoned outdoor amusement park.
Weeds grew everywhere, and an old, half-sunken cruise ship was covered in moss.
Luna ran forward recklessly, not even bothering to pick up her shoes when they fell off. She stepped on broken stones, and mud and blood instantly stained her fair feet.
The sunlight coming towards her was so strong that it seemed to engulf her entire person, but her world was still dark.
The sound of footsteps chasing after her from behind grew louder and closer...
Feeling her way along the wooden boards, Luna crawled inside the cruise ship and curled up into a ball, holding onto her trembling self tightly.
A white dress barely covered her heavily bruised and battered thighs, and her eyes were covered with white silk.
She is so weak that she can't withstand any blows, like a clematis that will wither at any moment without support to lean on.
"Where did that blind guy go?"
A young couple ran in panting and looking around.
Anna held onto Oliver's arm, glancing down at the mud on her high heels with disgust, grumbling discontentedly, "What a terrible place, it's so dirty."
"Whose fault is it that you couldn't keep an eye on her?"
Oliver frowned, looking around the silent and vast amusement park before patiently putting on a smile and shouting, "Luna, my dear, stop fooling around and come out. I'll take you home."
"... "
"This is great news! She's from the Von's family! The eldest son and the eldest grandson of the Von family! If you have his child, you'll never have to worry about food and drinking again for the rest of your lives! Listen to me, come out, be careful of your stomach, and I promise not to hit you again."
Hearing the familiar voice, Luna felt a chill running through her body, feeling hopeless.
At the age of fifteen, her family went bankrupt, and soon after, a big fire broke out, causing her family to be destroyed and her loved ones to perish. Overnight, she became blind.
Afterward, she was fostered in the home of a loyal servant named James, where she lived for five years.
Last year, James's only son, Oliver, returned after finishing his studies and took great care of her, frequently expressing his love for her.
Just when she thought she had found warmth after her ordeal and was about to agree to a relationship with him, this wolf in sheep's clothing began to reveal his true nature, constantly asking her whether she had any savings hidden away as the former daughter of a wealthy family.
When he found out that she had none, Oliver punched and kicked her and even engaged in inappropriate behavior with her caregiver, Anna, right in front of her.
The two of them became increasingly ridiculous, borrowing money at high interest rates to gamble, and when they lost the money, they prepared to sell her to their creditors to pay off their debts.
In a nightclub full of lights and wine, they met the young master of the Von family, a well-known figure in the city of Nexuria who made everyone tremble with fear. They immediately changed their minds and decided to extort a larger sum of money, and without a word, they pushed her into Valerian's room.
That room was filled with a strong and seductive atmosphere...
But who was Valerian? He was the eldest son of the Von family, a person whom even the King of Hell would avoid if he saw him.
He slept with her and had his bodyguards beat up Oliver and Anna, who had blocked the door and demanded money. He then left with great satisfaction.
In the end, Luna naturally bore all the anger and resentment.
She was bedridden for almost a month due to the beating from Oliver. The sudden vomiting and delayed menstrual cycle made Anna and Oliver realize something was wrong, so they happily took her to the hospital.
Luna knew what they were thinking, they wanted to use her unborn child to extort money.
She could only escape from the clutches of these two devils now.
If she didn't escape today, as a blind woman, she would never be able to escape.
The sound of shoes stepping on dry leaves entered Luna's extraordinarily sensitive auditory system. It was not the footsteps of Oliver and Anna, did they bring someone else?
She tightly bit her own hand, afraid to make a sound.
The footsteps drew closer and closer...
It was like a countdown to death.
Even the air was suffocating.
Suddenly, the footsteps stopped. The cold wooden fragrance rushed up her nose and the feeling of being trapped filled the air.
A man's voice with a slightly cool and hoarse tone came down from above her head -
"Miss Luna, who is the father of the baby in your belly?"
