When we are happy there are always consequences that coming. That's how life works; it will let you feel how good it was then suddenly it will pull you out of your own fantasy. Life can be good if it wants to and it can be worst if it wants to test you. But I won't let these trials break me down. I've been worst before and I can make it out alive.
But the hardest part is ... when you are just starting to enjoy everything..
JENNIE'S POV
"Are you sure that you are going to perform again? What if those men come back and do bad things to you again huh?" Jisoo was really concerned with me. She even wants to sue her own aunt for blackmailing me. But I don't want this thing to get further and bigger.
"Don't worry too much, unnie. I can handle this, arasso? And I will talk to your aunt first before anything else." I answered.
"I'll come with you then!" she hissed. She is seriously mad at her aunt right now but for her peace of mind, I'll let her come with me to the bar.

"Selena.." Ms. Lee greeted me "Oh and Jisoo" she smiled at Jisoo nervously but Jisoo just glared at her.
"Thank God you made a great decision." She smiled happily.
"We are demanding a contract," Jisoo said sternly.
"W-what do you mean?" Ms. Lee answered startled.
"If you want my friend to perform here regularly, we want a contract that if any s**t happens while she's working here or anything against her will occur we have something against you." Jisoo talked like she's a professional lawyer. I was amused by her. I never even think about that because all I want is to settle this thing up.
"Fine, let's make a contract that will benefit both sides." Ms. Lee said smiling.
We agreed to the terms and condition and we both signed papers.
My identity shouldn't be known by others or even the staff inside the bar.

Jisoo and I did not go to school today because we have to deal with Ms. Lee, I know she doesn't want to do this but she was left with no choice and pressured because of her debts. I could see how nervous she was when we showed up to her bar earlier. I still have a good heart after all.
It is already 5:30 PM, Jisoo is hungry and we decided to eat at the near restaurant since we became exhausted like today is some kind of a big day and we cannot cook at our apartment in this kind of state.
"Jennie-yah! Don't touch my chicken!" she said and took away the whole f*****g chicken away from me.
"You are greedy Jisoo!" I yelled at her but because she is so busy devouring her food she doesn't bother to look at me. Aish this girl!
"I want a beer. Let's drink unnie." I finally got her attention.
"Why do you want to drink?" Jisoo looked at me while holding her chicken
"I need to unwind; tomorrow I will be starting to go to that bar again." I sigh and Jisoo just nods.
Actually, I am just nervous about what will happen tomorrow at the bar. Lisa has been going to that bar until now checking if I was there, we made sure that she will not be going to see us today there because that would be weird if she does. Why does she really want to see me? It would be easier if she will not be there while I am performing but the truth is I did this entire thing just for her. I am afraid that she might find out the truth.
Every time we are together she always shows me the real her, I never thought that I would like her enough to continue this just to hide my identity. Lisa is a great person. After a month of being friends with her, I learned a lot about her. She's not like a lion ready to attack every woman she sees, she's just a freaking cat that always scared. Her appearance is telling a different way. She's just like me, trying to be tough and hard but still soft inside.
Jisoo and I are sober, we have an early class tomorrow and I also need to rest my b***h face for tomorrow. I sigh. We finally decided to go home.
I checked my phone and Lisa has been calling me, 8 messages and 5 calls from her and also Chaeng called me several times. They must be worried about Jisoo and I not attending school today.
Sorry if we did not attend class today. Something important came up. See you tomorrow :)- I texted Lisa

LISA'S POV
"Chaeng why are they not here yet? They don't go to class late." I asked Rosé worriedly. She has been calling Jisoo for the ninth times but they are not answering.
I dialed Jennie's number but still, they are not returning any messages or calls.
"Jisoo and Jennie unnie does not reply to my messages where they could possibly be?" Rosé asked me while fidgeting her phone.
The teacher started to discuss and asked us about the progress of our project. Because Jisoo and Jennie are not around, Rosé and I decided to pass our papers that include the other two's names.
It is already lunchtime. "Lalisa, Jisoo already texted me. She said they are fine they just needed to be somewhere." Rosé said.
I searched for my phone and look at it if there's a notification from Jennie, but I was disappointed. I might have a lot of notifications but from unknown numbers asking me to go out. Damn these unnecessary messages. I said to myself.
"Are you okay, Lis?" Rosé asked when she saw me furrowing my brows on my phone. "I'm fine, unnie." I said and smiled.
"You are starting to like her?" Rosé asked me out of nowhere, I choke on air.
"Yah! Jennie and I are just friends!" I hissed at her.
"I never said it's Jennie" she teased me.
"You said her duh!" I said and tap my fingers on the table.
"But you have a lot of girls" she said while smirking at me.
"Will you just stop!" I glared at her but she just laughs at me. Aish Chaeyoungie!
"My Lisa is falling in looooove!" she yelled and everyone in the cafeteria looked at us. You are so dead chipmunk.
Rosé run and I tried to chase her. We circled the cafeteria and she almost slipped because the floor is kind of wet.
"Park Chaeyoung!!!" I screamed and run faster until I already chased her. We are both panting because we have been running for straight 5 minutes.
"Stop L-Liss" she said but I continue tickling her until she sat on the floor and fighting for her breath.
"Serves you right chipmunk!" I said and stand up still breathless. Everyone In the cafeteria was looking at us.
"They look like a child." "Oh my god, I never saw Lisa like that she's so cute" "Chaeyoung was running for her life look at her she's cute too." I heard the students' murmurs but we just ignored them.
I sit at our table smirking at Rosé's direction while she's making her way back. Someone from the students offers me some water.
"L-Lisa, drink this .. you are panting," the girl said. I immediately drink the water and I could see the girl's face was reddened. Do I really have this effect on them?

It's already 7:30 and I am going to the bar tonight again to see if Selena is around. After that incident, I cannot erase her from my mind.
I saw posters that plastered in the bar. It says that Selena is going to perform tomorrow at 8:00 PM. Same time same place. My face lit up and I went to the manager.
"Manoban" she said shyly.
"Can you reserve me a seat for Selena's performance tomorrow?" I said straightforwardly.
"You are lucky. I really reserved a seat for you since you've been longing to see her again and as a thank you also for what happened, you know. We never talk about it but I am thankful that you save her but punching my visitor and kicking his ass lead me to debts." Ms. Lee answered me and my jaw dropped.
"I am not sorry about what happened since your bouncers are incompetent that's why I just did their job. How much the ticket will be?" I asked her not wanting to make this interaction long.
I am kind of disgust because of her. Does she only care about her customers and don't care about her staff? The hell.
"50 dollars." She said briefly.
"Fine, where should I pay?" I said
"Just give it to me. Here's the ticket." She then hands me the ticket.
I was going to left her after I hand her the money and get the ticket. "Lisa." She said and made me turn around to look at her again.
I looked at her and waiting for her to talk. "Do you know who Selena is?" she asked me, why is she asking me this question?
"What do you mean?" I furrowed my eyebrow.
"Nothing, just asking."
"I don't know her, she doesn't even take off her mask when I was with her. But .. But I am sure she was really scared that night that's why I will always be here every time she is going to perform to save her because you cannot protect your own star." I said and leave her shocked.
I don't know why did I say that but I really want to protect Selena. That girl hiding on her mask, I want to know her but I don't want her to feel that I am pressuring her.
MS. LEE'S POV
I never want to pressure anyone to anything but this debt is going to be my end. It's been a month since the incident happened. Mr. Jeon Jungkook is going to sue me if I don't pay him. He's a good businessman and a powerful one. This bar is all I have and Selena or Jennie made great money every time she is performing. My niece's friend is going to work for my debts but I feel really guilty about it.
I can sense that Lisa is really worried about Selena; she even goes here every damn night just to see her but always failed. I saved a VIP ticket for her if ever she came tonight. And finally, I can see her approaching
"Manoban" I said shyly.

I can see that she is disgust about me but I have to save my business. It is all I have, I can't lose this.

"What do you mean?" she furrowed her eyebrow.
"Nothing, just asking," I said
"I don't know her, she doesn't even take off her mask when I was with her. But .. But I am sure she was really scared that night that's why I will always be here every time she is going to perform to save her because you cannot protect your own star." She said and leave me in shock. This womanizer just fell for Selena but she doesn't even know that she already friends with her.
LISA'S POV
I was driving home when my phone vibrates.
Sorry if we did not attend class today. Something important came up. See you tomorrow :)

I feel my body shiver to her text; she made me happy just because of one text. Damn, what are you doing to me, Jennie? I replied immediately.

I was smiling until I reached my house and lay on my bed. I took out my ticket on my wallet and look at it.
