Chapter XIII

JENNIE'S POV

We are at the cafeteria with Lisa and Rosé, as usual, everyone is looking at us. Maybe it is because of Lisa.

"I went to the bar last night," Lisa said while sipping her juice. Jisoo looks at me discreetly. "Y-you went to the bar last night?" Jisoo asked nervously. "I got this!" Lisa showed us the ticket, a VIP ticket for my performance tonight. Wow, they already produced a ticket.

"What's that?" I asked innocently.

"It's for Selena's performance tonight. Sorry if I only get one, the manager told me that it is the only one that she reserved for me. I don't even know why she did but I'm kind of glad that she did. Finally, I can see her again. Isn't that great?" She exclaimed while flashing a big smile on her face.

She really wants to see me again. My heart flutters because of her.

I smiled unwillingly. Her wide smile makes me feel butterflies in my stomach.

"You are really into her aren't you? I never heard you going out with different girls since you met that girl." Rosé said, revealing her friend.

"Yah! What are you saying? I'm just not in the mood to see someone that doesn't mean I like her.." Lisa said while blushing and her last words came out like a whisper. I wonder why.

Rosé laughs at her best friend and starts teasing her. "Stop it already, Chae." Lisa said while pouting, she's cute when she does that.

"You are whipped for that girl huh?" To my surprise, Jisoo joined Rosé to tease Lisa and they are both smirking at Lisa.

"You two keep on teasing me when both of you like each other!" Lisa blurted out, which made my eyes widen and Jisoo choke to her chicken again while Rosé was red as a tomato.

"Wh-what are you talking about Lisa!" Chae said stuttering.

"You guys should confess to each other first before teasing me!" She said. Now the tables are turned Jisoo and Rosé are both blushing.

"Aish children stop teasing each other, let's just eat arasso?" I said cutting the awkwardness between Jisoo and Rosé.

It is almost time for me to perform; I am just finishing my makeup.

I heard a knock "Ms. Selena, it is time." Someone from the staff called me and I walked outside my dressing room. Wearing my favorite mask, tonight my hair is tied and I am wearing a fit outfit that compliments my body. Just think of something hot and that is me.

As usual, the lights turned off and when the music starts it will be turned on. The music already started and I am facing the wall while swaying my body seductively to the music.

As I faced the crowd, I search for the pair of eyes that I want to see. Lisa was in front and she's smiling. She looks so happy about seeing me. When I looked at her, her eyes are also smiling that made me smile too. I then walk to the pole and dance to it. Everyone in the bar was looking at me watching me attentively but Lisa, she's still smiling at me. What happened to the lustful eyes I saw a month ago. Maybe she's really here just to see me. This girl is really something.

I walked across the stage and show them how my body, works. I twerked and everyone is screaming. When I faced the crowd again I could see that Lisa is gulping. I looked into her eyes. Her eyes prevented my gaze. She's now biting her lips. I don't know but her action makes me hot. She's making me wet just by that. I sat on the chair and started to grind on it like it is someone, again the crowd starting to throw money on stage. I smirked at it. Then I spread my legs facing them, I touch it seductively. I saw how Lisa and others gawking but Lisa's eyes are trying to look at the other direction every time I am trying to look at her.

My performance was done gracefully. Everyone claps their hands and I exited the stage to go to my dressing room. I am resting for a while when I heard a knock.

"Ms. Selena this is Bob, Ms. Lisa Manoban wants to talk to you. Should I let her in?" he said waiting for my respond

I was thinking if I should let her in. I looked myself in the mirror and cover myself with the robe I used to perform.

"Ms. Selena are you there?" Bob asked me because I did not respond to him.

"Let her in, Bob." I said.

After seconds someone is knocking at my door.

I opened the door and saw Lisa looking down and she then lifts up her face and smiled at me. Damn those smiles. I can't help but smile back at her. "Hi," she said. Is she nervous?

"Lisa." I said. I am sure I am sweating cold right now. But still, I let her in.

"Thank you for talking to me." She said while roaming her eyes around my dressing room

"Ah. About that, I just want to say thank you for what you did last time. I really appreciate it." I said looking at her reflection in the mirror.

"It was nothing, Selena." She said while scratching the back of her head.

I turned my chair to face her and she really looks nervous this time. Is she affected by me?

"So, tell me? What do you want as a thank you?" I said and stand up. She gulped again.

I walk close to her. "N-nothing I just want to know if you are okay now." She said still not looking into my eyes. Why are you not looking to me, Lisa. I want you to look at me with all the wants. I don't know why but I feel hot just by being in one room with you.

I closed the gap between us and tug her leather jacket's collar. "Wh-what are you doi.." I cut her off and kissed her. I really don't know what got inside of me to do this. I really want her now.

She's not kissing me back that's why I lick her lips. Lisa is taller than me but thanks to these heels our height becomes even. I encircled my hand to her nape and pull her to deepen our kiss. Finally, she's kissing me back. "uhmm." I let a moan escaped. She's now hugging my torso to feel my body more.

This is the first time we shared a kiss. She's now kissing my neck. I closed my eyes because she kissed so good. Then she removed my coat that covering my body and now I am only wearing tight clothes. "You are so beautiful" she murmured while looking back into my eyes. Her eyes were sincere. She kissed me softly. Lisa put me on my table. I am now sitting on the table while she's kissing me torridly. Our tongues are fighting, I bit her lower lip and a moan escape from her mouth. I love to hear that. She touched my thighs teasing it, sliding her smooth hands up and down while we are kissing. She's about to snake her hands to my chest ..

When someone knocks. "Selena are you there?" I heard Ms. Lee called me. I pulled out from our kiss and straighten myself. "Y-you have to go now, Lisa." I said. We are both panting.

She was really confused about what just happened, so am I. Why did I even kiss her in the first place damn what are you doing Jennie.

"S-sorry." She said and opened the door to go out.

"You let Lisa inside your dressing room? Does she know?" Ms. Lee asked me out of shock.

"No. And she doesn't need to know." I said while taking off my mask.

"Why are you here?" I asked her.

"Here's your money for performing tonight. Our drinks are sold out. This is amazing. Thank you Selena." She said happily and I accepted the money. I don't even need money. I have my wealth. Of course, not everyone knows who really I am that's why they think I am just a simple person. I have everything on my plate but I always want to be a simple person.

What happened with me and Lisa in the dressing room is been playing to my head repeatedly.

I am now at the apartment and Jisoo is already asleep. She must be waiting for me because she's sleeping on the couch and the TV is still ON she's watching a Disney movie again, such a kid. I smiled because she was snoring. I put a blanket to warm her and went straight to my room to fix myself and prepare to sleep. I am kind of exhausted.

Lisa, sorry for hiding behind this mask. I never want to hide things from you but I don't think it is time for you to know. I can't afford to lose you, now that I think .. I am falling for you.

I am not ready to tell you everything but I am sure that I am not also ready to lose you. I want to hold you as long as I can, I want to show you every layer of me but how can I do that if I am afraid that you might know everything. You are too precious to be hurt.

LISA'S POV

"You look so happy, what happened?" Rosé asked me while the four of us taking our lunch.

"I am just simply happy." I smiled at her.

Jennie looks so tired today. Her eyes were sleepy. But her smile is still adorable. "Jennie you look tired," I asked her and she looks at me. "Ah.. Insomnia attacks me last night I couldn't sleep enough." She said.

"Here drink this. You look really pale today. You should take care of yourself." I gave her vitamins and she took it from my hand and then drink it.

"You guys are so concerned to each other, is there someone here also concerned for me." Jisoo blurted out that made us laugh.

"I care for you." Rosé said. Wow. I was startled.

"Wow. Is that my chipmunk talking?" I said while my eyes are widened.

Rosé blushed. But she chose not to look at me. "Here eat more." Instead, she averted her attention to Jisoo and offered her food to her. Jisoo blushed at Rosé and gave Chaeng some of her food too.

"I am getting sick to your sweetness." I heard Jennie said playfully.

"Yah! You two started it!" Jisoo said while pouting.

"Anyway, mind sharing what happened last night that made you smile up until now, Lisa?" Rosé said I saw Jennie choked on her food. I offered her my water and she drinks it immediately. "Are you okay?" she just nods.

I saw Jisoo eyed Jennie while Rosé is still waiting for my answer. "Ah.. Selena and I talked." I said blushing. "H-how??" Jisoo asked curiously and look to Jennie. Why is she always looking at Jennie??

"She let me into her dressing room," I said. "She might want to thank you for saving her last time." Rosé said and I just nod at her not wanting to tell them what really happens. I see Jennie became uncomfortable with the topic.

And I looked at her. "Jennie," I said. "You somehow look like Selena, you have the same cat eyes," I said. Rosé look at Jennie looking to her eyes while Jisoo gulped and looked at Jennie. "You know some people have a resemblance," Jisoo said and I looked at her agreeing to her statement. "Jisoo unnie is right. When I saw that girl dancing I don't think Jennie can do that. I mean, how seductive that girl was." Rosé added.

"I-I haven't seen that girl you've been talking about so I don't know how to react hehe," she said while showing her gummy smile. Jennie can't be Selena, they are like two kinds of different personalities.

"I know, you are too sweet Jennie to be like someone like Selena. You guys are like two different people." I said and they all agreed to me.

JENNIE'S POV

"You let her talk to you? Why did you do that? She even told us that you and Selena have the same cat eyes, what if she knew Jennie?" Jisoo bombarded me with questions.

"Unnie I am being careful, don't worry okay?" I said.

I don't think telling Jisoo what happened last night is not a good idea that's why I did not open it up to her. I just told her that we talked since that's what Lisa told to us.

Now we are in the car to go to Rosé's condo. We are going to continue our project again.

We are now at her condo, Rosé's family is one of a great business tycoon in Korea just like the Manoban's so I wasn't surprised when I saw how expensive her condo was.

Jisoo wasn't also surprised because we made our research after meeting them from our first week here.

"So let's start?" Rosé said while placing some snacks and what a chicken? Does she really buy chicken for Jisoo? I am sensing something here.

Jisoo stands up "Did you really bought this for me?" she said to Chaeyoung, Chaeyoung smiled "of course unnie!" Chae answered.

"You heard that? She bought this for me. So this is mine." She said proudly while hugging the chicken.

Lisa and I just laughed at her while Rosé blushed." They can make a cute couple," Lisa said in a whisper not wanting to be heard by the two." Jisoo is so obsessed with chicken but I have never seen her that happy before. She really likes Chaeyoung." I said.

We both smiled seeing the two how cute they are working on their project.

We have been working for 2 hours asking different questions to each other.

"Lisa, can I ask you something?" I said

"That's why we are here right?" she said smiling

"I mean, something more personal," I said

"Oh.. sure spill it." She said

"What happened to you .. why did you become like that, why are you sleeping with someone .. is that all about s*x?" I asked.

Lisa looked at me shocked and then her face became serious, it made me goosebumps. "Yo-you don't have to answer it if you don't want to." I said.

"It was two years ago, I fell for someone." She said, her eyes now were dull. "We were happy. At that young age I fell for someone I thought who is real to me. I loved her but .. she cheated on me. It was like she threw everything out of the window and she left me. I was begging her to come back because I really love her. But she never did. I was so hurt." Lisa's eyes are now sad "until it hits me that she just played me." Now I could see that her eyes became mad. For once, I was afraid of her. "It was so tragic. Like how could you betray someone that you are saying you love." I gulped to her sentence. "I know the feeling of getting played, Jennie. But I am not playing with others' feelings. I always ask for their consent and making it clear to them that it is all about physical and we should not involve our feelings." She continued.

"I don't want to hurt anyone or to push myself to someone that doesn't want to do it, you know what I mean?" I nodded. "Everyone calls me a womanizer, a player. They are calling me names because they don't know the truth." Now she became sad.

"That's why I am happy that someone like Rosé is always there for me. She's my best friend. She never judges me nor doubted me. I'm like an open book to her." She said while looking at Rosé happily.

"And also, I am happy to have you and Jisoo unnie for being our friend. I never thought that I could make friends with you knowing we had a little argument at first but knowing you Jennie, you sometimes making my heart flutter." I was caught off guard when she said that. s**t, I might blush.

"I want to know you more, I am actually happy every time we are spending time together and also the deep talks. I love them." She continues and smiles shyly. I can't talk. I wasn't expecting this from her.

"But Jennie, it was true that I am not seeing anyone right now .. since we became friends it is just a coincidence that I also met Selena. I just want to be friends with you and I think you don't like me because of the image that I have." She said while scratching her nape. Is she shy? Does she want to be friends with me since then? Why I never saw that. Maybe because I was busy taking revenge. Aish.

"But last night. Selena and I .. we .. we kissed. We almost do it." She confessed while fidgeting her pen.

"I don't know what it means. While she was performing last night. I kept on avoiding her gaze because her eyes, it is like your eyes. But you can't be her." She said unease. Oh, that's why she is not looking into my eyes that night.

"I never told Chae about this, you are the first person I told you about what happened with me and Selena. Don't tell it to them, yeah?" she said shyly.

"Of course. I won't. I promise." I said smiling at her.

"I know you won't betray me, Jennie. I know I could trust you." She said then pulled me for a hug.

Betray ... Trust ... Sorry, Lisa. A tear escaped from my eye thank god she's hugging me. I wiped it immediately before anyone could notice.
