-Alpha Liam wait please I want to talk to you about Kurty now that she will be joining your pack soon.

- You have my full attention, Mr Kendell.

Kurty's dad invites me to sit on a sofa and I obey.

-you probably know that Kurty is the last survivor of a line of witches.

-I knew Mrs Kendell was one but you think Kurty could inherit her powers?

- nothing is certain because so far she has not developed any powers but if her powers ever appear once in the pack I am counting on you to protect her, she will be in danger cause of the witch hunters.

-I think a scout is already in town but the problem is how he found a lead?

- I don't know Alpha Liam if that's really the case the scout is looking for the last witch and it's my daughter.

-Don't worry. Mr Kendell, the pack know about it and we'll hunt him down. He broke the magic barrier that our ancestors had put in place, unfortunately we lost sight of him and more precisely he disappeared.

-I trust you. Whatever happens, I know my daughter will be in good hands.

I nod my head and get up, I was going to ask Kurty's dad for more information when I hear his footsteps in the bedroom.

-Kurty woke up Mr Kendell, I have to go.

-Why don't you stay Alpha Liam? I think so it's more appropriate for you and Kurty to meet once and for all.

-I prefer to wait for the day of the ball; I intend to claim her in the eyes of all as my Luna and my betrothed.

I open the door, get in my car and ask my driver to start. During the trip to the pack I can't stop thinking about Kurty, the chosen one of my heart.

Kurty's POV

- Dad, how did I get here?

-the alpha brought you home; I can know what you were doing alone in the park.

-I had a vision after fainting.

-luckily the Alpha was there otherwise God only knows what could have happened to you.

-I would have done it without him dad.

I cook supper while my dad watches TV, then cleans up. The next day Anna came to see me, we had a great day because it was early in the weekend when I got home, there was a woman talking with my dad. As soon as she noticed my presence, she greeted me with a frank smile.

-Hello, Kurty, good to see you.

-Hello Mrs

I throw a questioning look at my father who briefly explains to me,

-Kurty, I present to you Sarah, he comes from your betrothed's pack that designates her as the best stylist in town and she is going to make you a pretty dress for the ball tomorrow night.

-I doubt it's possible in such a short time.

-It's possible, I can do miracles.

I let out an irritated sigh; I accept that she takes my measures although it is reluctantly.

-goodbye I mumbled between my teeth annoyed by this title that I hate so much.

Once the woman is gone, my father comes to meet me, smiling.

-do you have familiarity with a wolf?

-she seems nice but she's a wolf, a monster. I really want to change my mind and staying in this house is suffocating me.

I leave the house and receive a call from Anna, she asks me to join her and Ethan for a story of clothes for the ball.

Is there at least one person in this town who isn't excited about the ball tomorrow night at the Alpha's villa?

Maybe spending the afternoon with my friends will help me forget that I just ran into one of his wolf leeches.

A few minutes later I join my friends, who were bickering,
