2: I Got You (Part 2)

"Neil babe I swear to you that I wasn't doing anything." A frightened Bianca said to him as she stood by the bedroom door. 

After talking to Ace she'd left the back door unlocked like he'd said and had decided to sneak back into the bedroom with Neil before he woke up and suspected anything. He wasn't someone who slept through the night and sometimes he'd roll over and check to see that she was still in bed. Most times he'd hold her near him just so he'd be able to feel her moving around just in case she tried to sneak out. Tonight when he hadn't she'd taken that opportunity to call Ace and tell him that she'd had enough of the abuse. Once she'd crept back into the bedroom Neil was awake and waiting for her. She'd tried to lie as if she was in the bathroom but he knew better. She even tried to convince him that she'd gone downstairs for a drink of water and had used the bathroom downstairs since she was closer to that one. He still didn't buy her story and she could only hope and pray that Ace got here in time enough before Neil had the chance to beat her.

Meanwhile Ace crept upstairs with his gun in hand putting on the silencer. As he made it up and walked through the dark hallway all he could see was the light from the bedroom through the cracked door.

"Bullshit!" Neil yelled back handing Bianca and she screamed as her head flew back. "You think I'm stupid b***h?!? Huh?!" He drew his fist back and was about to punch her as she held her face but before he could Ace burst into the bedroom.

"Hit her I dareyou nigga." He pointed the gun at Neil who quickly backed up with his hands in the air watching as Ace pushed Bianca behind him with his free hand.

"Who the hell are you?" Neil frowned. "Bianca do you know this man?" He tried tilting his head to the side to look at her but Ace blocked his view knowing that he'd just try to intimidate her. Sometimes all an abuser had to do was give the victim a certain look and they knew that they'd crack. Ace had heard for weeks about how Neil had dragged her through the house like an animal, pulled out her hair, stomped her, r***d her, and just tore her down. In talking to her and hearing those stories murdering Neil was all that was on his mind but he didn't know Bianca's address and he wouldn't kill him unless she gave him the word to do so. Tonight when he'd gotten the call he didn't hesitate to get dressed and leave his home to help her.

"Bianca—"

"Don't talk to her. Talk to me." Ace clenched his jaw hitting his chest as he kept the gun on Neil who was scanning the room trying to spot anything he could use to defend himself. "I wish you would." Ace told him. "b***h I'll kill you dead where you stand but I need her to get what she gotta say off her chest first to you since she could never speak her mind because you was PUSSYand beat her for it."

"I have nothing to say." Bianca mumbled from behind him.

"Who the fuckare you?" Neil questioned. "Bianca who is this man? You're gonna let him kill me? You invited him into my home?"

"I said don't talk to her." Ace purposely fired pass Neil's head making him duck like the coward he was.

"Bianca if he kills me who'll take care of you? You don't have any experience at anything. You won't be able to support yourself. You need to think about this s**t. I'm allyou have." Neil said as she stayed hidden behind Ace leaning up against the wall.

"Ace..." She sniffled dropping her head knowing what Neil was saying was true. "Don't."

"Don't kill him. I need him." 

"What?" Ace frowned looking over his shoulder at her before looking back at Neil to make sure he wouldn't try to rush him and take his gun.

"That's right." Neil smirked nodding his head knowing that she'd be the one to protect him because in his mind she was too soft to harm anyone or let someone else do it. "You need me b***h. Now send him away right now and all will be forgiven."

"BITCH." Ace clenched his jaw shooting Neil in the leg listening to him scream out in pain as he fell to the floor. "Didn't I f*****g tell you don't speak to her? Huh?!? Open your f*****g mouth nigga." He cupped Neil's face making him open his mouth as he put the gun in it. Neil squirmed around trying to look out the corner of his eye at Bianca hoping that she'd stop this from going any further.

"Please. Please just stop." Bianca cried harder looking over at Neil and seeing how terrified he was.

"Stop???" Ace frowned looking over at herclenching his jaw tighter. He wasn't mad at her but just mad at the fact that Neil had her this much under his control as if she wasn't a human being. Seeing a woman being this battered, controlled, and manipulated hit home for him. Domestic abuse against any woman would never ever sit right with him. "After all the s**t this man has done to you? After the beatings. Tearing you down. Mistreating you as if you don't have feelings. Making you feel less than a woman. You want me to what? Stop? You reallywant that?"

"I...I..." Bianca got choked up on her words as she rubbed her neck not sure what to do. 

Neil mumbled as if he was trying to say something to her but couldn't get it out because Ace's gun was so far in his mouth.

"He ain't gon' stop B." Ace shook his head. "I'm telling you. I done seen cats like this and this nigga ain't gon' change. You could let him live and be a prisoner in this house to him or you can give me the word love and let me handle it. Don't think about what he said about you not having anything or anywhere to go. I toldyou....I got you B." Ace reminded her.

Bianca closed her eyes and tears slipped down her cheek quicker than she could stop them. "Yes." She choked out keeping her eyes closed giving Ace the word. She heard one shot and knew that it was done.

Opening her eyes she saw a dead Neil laying on the floor with a hole in the back of his head. She screamed out and covered her mouth as she cried harder losing her breath.

Her tears weren't because she loved him but because she'd never seen a dead body or was the reason someone was dead. She'd told Ace to kill him and in the moment of saying yes she didn't realize that this was what it would look like. She was sweet and timid but doing thismade her feel like she was a monster.

"What did I do?! WHAT DID I DO?!??!" 

Ace's eyes widened at the sight of her panicking and he quickly grabbed the blanket off of the bed throwing it over Neil so she wouldn't have to see it. He rushed over to her seeing that she was now hyperventilating.

"Bianca breathe. Just breathe." He told her.
