Chapter 1

[It was a Saturday morning, it was bright beautiful and peaceful, I left my house early to go for Bible study, I was glad I left early, because I was supposed to be the one to lead prayers]

[After 2 hours later, I greeted each and everyone of the members and left]

[I stood outside the building waiting for Joshua to pick me up]

[After waiting for almost 10 mins, he arrived]

Joshua: Just get in, and let's go [His expression looked like he was irritated]

Me: Is everything alright

Joshua: None of your business [His voice grew a little louder]

Me: I only asked a question

Joshua: Shut up and let me concentrate

Me: If you don't want me to sit in your car, just tell me so I can leave

[He looked at me and stopped the car]

Joshua: You wanna go?

Me: No I said if you don't want me to sit in your car, I'll go

[He laughed at me]

Joshua: You really are naive

Me: I'm not

Joshua: If you wanna go..go

Me: Is that what you want

Joshua: Baby do you think I care?

Me: So you don't care?

Joshua: Pretty much

[He looks forward]

Joshua: The door is right there if you wanna leave..leave

[ I was already exhauseted and alI I wanted was to go home]

[Silence]

[Sigh]

Me: Let's just go

[He laughs loudly and continues driving]

[The whole ride was silent]

[We were getting a closer to where I lived]

[I broke the silence and asked him a question]

Me: Do you really love me?

[I look at him]

[He slowed down a bit]

Joshua: What kind of question is that, if I didn't love you, you wouldn't be with me

Me: Do you?

Joshua: What do you think?

Me: That you don't

Joshua: Why

Me: You treat me like I'm not worth, and you act like I'm being a nuisance to you, and you never say you love me when I say I love you, are you really a Christian

[He turns to me in anger]

Joshua: Who do you think you are to ask me such question, is it because I take care of you that you think you can do whatever you like, You are nuisance, and you don't deserve love from anyone, Just take a look at yourself before and now, if it hadn't been for me..

[I bite my lips and held back my tears]

Me: Is that how you treat someone you love, is that what the Bible says you should do, if you really are a Christian why don't you act like it..
