After school even though I went through a lot avoiding Richard and his friends and Bella won't stop frustrating my life, Tyler seems to be close to Jendal now so I respect it I don't want to be pushy. Mom is having her rest day today so she is spending the day at home.
"Am home Mom"I greet as I change into my flip flop at the door stand.
"You are back earlier than I thought"that rare but familiar voice replied, it isn't my Mom because it a male voice.
"Tyler"I called.
"Been a while"he smile.
"Kiara, I didn't know you would come home so early"Mom walk in with a tray of home made cookies and I had to break contact with Tyler just to look at her.
"Was I suppose to be late"I asks suspicious of the question they both asks.
"Tyler mentioned you are going on a date with a new friend today"My eye widened immediately she said that.
"Wtf"I cuss.
"Tyler can I see for a sec"I walk towards him and pull him by his ear.
"Where are you taking him to"Mom stare at us.
"Wanna show him my room"I lied as I pull him upstairs with me. I shut the door behind me immediately I enter the room.
I turn an saw him already sitting on my bed his eye looking round my room.
My room is always sparkling and spacious because I move my closet to the other edge of the room.
This guy has guts did I asks him to seat.
"What did you do that for and did I tell you am going on a date"I scold him.
"Actually I got this message saying, let her go on a date with me or you pay the price"he muttered and I frown.
"You should have just walk up to me and tell me"I raise my voice.
"We aren't talking anymore and it would be hard coming to you and tell you go on a date with her"he replied and I sigh in frustration.
"I don't like him at all"I said and he look confused for a while.
"Richard"I explained and he didn't say a word.
"Can I asks something?"I asks as I walk close and drop my books on the table.
"Sure"he replied; it wad getting awkward between us and I don't like it because I know he had this natural effect on me whenever he seems close.
"Do you like her too"he seems lost again; I press my butt on the edge of the table and face him.
"Like who?"he replied in question again and I frown.
"The girl you spend so much time with now just to snub me and ignore me and I even caught you kissing her"I stuttered not really sure if it a question I should asks.
"No she is just a friend"he replied short and I wasn't really satisfied at his statement but I was still Happy they are still just friends.
For some minutes I guess no one is saying anything or ready to start a conversation.
"I should probably leave so you won't be late on your first date"he said and force a smile as he stood up to leave. I watch him move to the door but I can't let my pride get the best of me I need to set things right.
"Tyler"I called and he turn immediately like he was actually expecting me to call him.
"Yes"he asks.
"I don't want to go on a date with someone who isn't you"I said and I gasped. Did I just confess to him?.
"I don't want another girl as my friend if she isn't Kiara"he replied and I chuckled.
He walk back to me and stop some one step away from me and took my hands in his.
"Am sorry"I said even though his touch where giving me a new sensation.
"Am sorry for shouting at you"he replied and I raise my head up and saw him staring at me.
"So can we be friends again"he asks; what? he just want me as his friend again? can't he see am approving my love for him already!.
"Sure" I replied even though I want us to be more than friends.
I don't want to go back to school tomorrow and someone else would be claiming me again.
"But friends don't do this you know"he said like he was reading my mind.
"Do what—"he didn't let me finish my statement before he claim my lips but before I could respond he pull away and I frown at him.
"I miss you"he smile and I return it.
"I miss you more"I replied and his awaiting lips form into a smile.
"Will you go out on a date with him?"he asks an I frown.
"Just tell him we are together now"I stood there shocked at his statement.
"Are we—"he interrupted me.
"Yes or you don't want us to start over again?"he asks.
"You want us to be friends"I asks because he is confusing me right now.
"I love you"he replied. Tyler is confessing to me!!.
"I tried telling you what I felt the other day but you seems to get everything wrong; it hurt everyday when I see you with him so I decide to do the same to Jendal but I realize it wasn't working since you are occupied with him"he said and I was lost.
"But Tyler—"he shushed me by placing his finger on my lips.
"Let just leave that in the past"he said.
"Tyler we need to talk about it"I remove his finger from lips.
"Talk about what?"he asks.
"Us"I replied.
"What there about us"he asks.
"Alot! are you sure we aren't going to end up fighting so soon or we might even break up"I
asks.
"I promise it won't re-occur again"he gave me a little squeeze on my hand. Am not sure about this but I can't let go of him.
"Yes"I replied stupidly.
"Yes what?"
"Uhmmm...."I don't know why am finding it difficult to say I love you.
"It okay I can wait"he said like he could read my mind and I smile.
"Where is the—"Mom bashed into the room but her eye went to our joined hand and a smile form on her lips.
"Am I interrupting something"She smile.
"No"I replied quick trying hard not to blush.
"I guess I would come later"She close the door behind her and Tyler face me back.
He was just staring at me without saying a word.
"What"I asks blushing really hard.
"Someone cheek is turning red"he teased and I laugh.
"And someone won't stop staring at my face"I chuckled and he tickle me by my waist and I giggled.
"Stop"I laughed as kept tickling me.
"Tyler stop"I shouted but he wasn't even listening till we fell on the bed and everything got awkward again.
He was laying right on top of me but he use his elbow to support his weight so it won't land on me.
I don't like things been awkward between us I end up doing crazy things.
"You look beautiful"he said and I blush really deep. He didn't allow me reply before he claim my lips again and that was how I end up spending the night with Tyler forgetting everything involving my date with Tyler.
