I stare at Dia open-mouthed, and wide-eyed I'm sure. I'm almost at a complete loss about what to say. I look at my mother and Derek who are also gaping at her like fish.
"I suppose I should have expected that to shock you," Dia finally says after none of us say anything to her for a while.
"I, I, I just don't know what to say," I finally mange to get out. "You know I actually read a book just titled Selene that contained a lot of that same information you just shared. It wasn't completely accurate, some of the things you've shared make more sense, but at the same time it feels like nothing makes sense at all."
