“You shouldn’t see him anymore, Miranda.” Josie said, a warning in her tone. “Do anything, stop him from reaching to you. You don’t know him. He’s dangerous and—I don’t know how to tell you this but—he’s this—”
“Creature of the night?” I c****d my brow at her, remembering Maddox’s words from earlier. He had told me by himself what he was and I believed he was joking with me them. Now, I wasn’t sure.
“How do you know?” She glared at me in horror. Tossing aside the cigarette, she leaned forward and asked, “What do you know about this all? Who told you?”
“He told me.” My lips barely moved.
Josie stilled at my words. When she blinked, it was moment’s later. “He told you? By himself? He told you who he is? And now you know who he is?”
I nodded, “I think so…” All I remembere
