Abandoned With A Baby

Chapter 14

I'm sitting on my bed watching a movie on Netflix when my phone vibrates on my nightstand. I pick it up and smile when I see who it is.

Trevor- I have a question for you

Me- And that would be?

Trevor- Do you want to go on a date with me tonight?

Me- I thought you said you had to do something for your family today?

Trevor- Change of plans, they said that I didn't have to be there

Me- Oh, well then sure I'd love to go on a date with you

Trevor- Sweet, I'll pick you up at 6

Trevor- Oh and make sure to dress comfortably

Me- Ok, see you soon.

I put my phone down and look at the time, 5:30 pm.

"I have to get ready!" I say getting up off my bed and run to my dresser to grab some clothes.

After grabbing my clothes and hopping in the shower, I finish getting ready.

"Comfortable he said, is this what he had in mind?" I whisper to myself standing in front of the mirror. I'm wearing a pair of black skinny jeans, a white crop top and a pair of black ankle boots, I`m not one of those girls who dress up when told to dress comfy, gosh, he says comfy, I dress comfy. If this isn't what he meant then that's his fault for saying "comfortable".

I when my hair dries more I pull it into a messy bun and add a little makeup. I'm the type that doesn't wear too much makeup, if you don't like me without makeup then I have no time for you.

When I finish my makeup and hair I look at the time 5:50 pm, wow, made it with 10 minutes to spare. I grab my phone and walk downstairs and see Aunt Ruth and Uncle Bruce sitting on the couch watching a movie.

"Hey, Trevor and I are going on a date, so I don't know when I'll be back," I say walking up behind them.

"Ok, just don't come home late, you have school tomorrow". Uncle Bruce says looking at me, when I nodded my head he nods with a smile and looks back at the TV.

"Not that we'd have to worry cause, we know he would make sure your home early," Aunt Ruth says still looking at the TV. I laugh and shake my head and walk into the kitchen for something to drink before Trevor gets here.

I get a cup of water and drink it and walk into the living room. There is a knock on the door and Uncle Bruce pauses the movie and they both turn around, I sigh and shake my head turning towards the door I opened it and see Trevor standing there with a smile on his face. I move to the side letting him in.

"Hi, Mr. and Mrs. Westwood," Trevor says when he sees them looking at him.

"Hi Trevor,"Aunt Ruth says back to him. Uncle Bruce nods his head and Trevors nods his back. I go into the kitchen and put the cup of water I had in the kitchen.

"Ready?" Trevor says looking at me when I come back in, I nod with a smile and he smiles back and grabs my hand and we walk towards that front door.

"Have her back early, you both have school,'' I hear Uncle Bruce yell as we are walking out the door.

"I don't plan on having her out to late sir," Trevor says back closing the door. Trevor pulls me to his car and opens the door for me so I can get in, I smile at him and get into the car, he closes the door and I see him run around the front of the car to the drivers side, he hops in and looks at me before turning the car on and pulling out of the driveway.

After a couple of minutes of driving Trevor stops at the beach, he turns off the car and gets out and before I can put my hand on the handle he is already opening the door for me.

"Ready?" He asks holding his hand out for me. When I take it he pulls me out and towards the beach.

"Why didn't you tell me we were coming to the beach, I would have brought a bathing suit," I say looking out at the ocean.

"Well, I didn't really plan on us going swimming," he says leading me further down the beach.

"Well, what did you plan?" I ask looking up at him.

"This," he says pointing at something farther down the beach. I look and I am amazed by what I see, there is a table with candles and flowers all around it. We walked to the table and I am amazed by the view, there is such an amazing view of the ocean, and I can tell that watching the sunset from here would be perfect.

"I thought that we could have dinner and then sit and watch the sunset together," Trevor says pulling me towards the table and pulling out a chair for me, I sit down with a smile.

We eat and get to know each other some more, I learned that he was raised by his mother and that his father worked a lot, also that he has a huge family and that he has 2 brothers and many cousins, and when we finish, he gets up and walks over to me and grabs my hand and pulls me up from my chair and over to a blanket, I was surprised that I didn't see it when we walked over here. We sit down on the blanket and look out at the ocean when the sun starts to set.

"Beautiful," I say looking at the sun setting.

"I know," Trevor says, I look over at him and see him looking at me with a small smile playing on his lips, I blush and look back at the ocean, and try to hide the blush and the smile that is starting to form. I can feel him move and I feel his hand move some hair out of my face and behind my ear.

"Don't hide" he says and snakes his hand under my arms and grabs my chin and makes me look at him.

We stare at each other for a couple of seconds before he speaks.

"I love you" he whispers, looking into my eyes.

"Did he just?" I think he did, he just said he loved me! I look into his eyes and all I can see is love.

"He's telling the truth, he really loves me!" I think I think he was getting nervous because his eyes also had a hint of nervousness in them, and that's when I realized that he just took a huge leap, and I'm not saying anything.

"But, do I love him too?" I think to myself, every time I see him, my stomach does flips, and I find myself always thinking about him and wondering when I'm gonna see him, and the way he makes me feel in general is enough to tell me my answer. I do love him. I love Trevor Burns. With my feelings about him figured out, I launch myself at him and kiss him, and put all the love that I had into the kiss hoping he got the message. I could tell he got my message when he started to kiss me back with the same amount of love. After a heated make out session we pulled back and looked at each other, lips swollen, and cheeks read.

"I love you, too"
