Abandoned With A Baby

Chapter 1

I woke up to the sun in my eyes and Jeff standing there smiling at me.

"Come on its time to get up," Jeff said walking to the door and closing it so I could get dressed. I went into the bathroom and got out of my pajamas, and took a shower, the warm water waking me up, I went to bed later last night because I was unpacking, I got out of the shower and dried my hair I decided to curl my hair. I decide to wear a black shirt that's tied to the side, a black leather jacket, some black ripped jeans, some gray boots, and a black hat.

I went downstairs and saw that Jeff was sitting at the table while Aunt Ruth was making breakfast. My Uncle Bruce treats me like I'm his own daughter, he loves me, he's Jeff biological father, him and Aunt Ruth have been together ever since freshman year. He doesn't like my mother so he never visits as often as Aunt Ruth and Jeff do, but he still does just so he can see me. When he heard what happened it made him hate my mother even more, but he was happy to invite me to stay there with them. I sat down and looked at my hands that were on the table, remembering all that Aunt Ruth has done for me.

2 Weeks Ago:

It was time to leave for Hawaii, my parents haven't talked to me since I told them I was pregnant, and they kicked me out of their house. Aunt Ruth offered me to stay with her and I took it because I had nowhere to go, someone that if I have some one who went through the same thing it would be easier.

"Ready," Jeff asked grabbing my bag and walking to the door with me following. Jeff didn't really tell me what he thinks about me being pregnant but I just think that he's happy that I stood up for myself. Jeff has always been one to say what he wants. He's like a big brother to me, he's always been a little over protective of me, but that's why I know that he will never judge me and will always be on my side.

He puts my bag in the trunk of my aunt's rental car and gets into the passenger seat, while I get into the back.

"Wheres Aunt Ruth?" I ask looking at Jeff, he shrugs his shoulders looking confused. "She said that she would meet us in the car." He said then we heard yelling coming from inside the house, and we both turned and looked at the house, this will be the last time that I ever see this house.

"I knew I should of never let you near her!" my mom yells at my aunt while she walked outside.

"What is that suppose to mean?" My aunt said throwing her bags into the trunk.

"It means that you're the reason she's pregnant, you rubbed off on her." My mom said while my aunt got in the car ignoring her, and driving off. I turn around and see my mom stomp her foot and say something to my dad and walk into the house.

"Sorry, for my mom," I say to my aunt.

"Oh, sweetie, there's no need to apologize, she's just mad that you didn't turn out like her, and that you 'embarrassed the family'" she said in the way that my mom says it, I laugh and we drive to the airport and get on the plane, because it was a long flight I had time to think, and I realized that I let mom dictate me my whole life, and I decide that I wouldn't let anyone tell me how to live my life.

When we got off the plane we got our bags and went to Aunt Ruth and Jeffs house, and they showed me to my room. It wasn't as big as the one back home but I still loved it. After taking a nap I went to the mall with Jeff, because I dont know my way around yet. We went all different types of stores and bought all the things that I liked and I knew I would wear because I wanted to not because someone told me to.

We decided to go home and found Aunt Ruth cooking dinner, I brought the bags up stairs with Jeffs help then started to unpack everything, when Aunt Ruth called me down for dinner. I ate then went back up stairs to finish unpacking, then I took a shower and got into my pajamas and went to bed.

"Melissa, how did you sleep?" I was pulled out of my thoughts by Aunt Ruth putting a plate full of food in front of me.

"I was good, I finish unpacking," I say taking a bite of the eggs that were on the plate.

"So has the morning sickness started yet?" I shook my head, then went to go and take a bit of sausage when I felt like I was going to throw up, I ran to the bathroom and started to throw up.

"I guess that answers your question mom," I hear Jeff say. I got up and Brushed my teeth again. This is going to be a long day, I say to myself.

"Come on it's time to," Jeff calls to me when I walk out of the bathroom. Grabbing my backpack I follow him out to his car, I wave to Aunt Ruth and get in, and we drive off.

We pull into the parking lot of the school, I instantly feel like I gonna be sick because I'm so nervous.

"Not in my car," Jeff said looking at me, getting out of the car.

"I'm just nervous," I say to him while I get out, everyone turns to look at us and I get even more nervous.

"Well if you need me I'm here," he says throwing an arm over my shoulder, I looking around and see that some girls are giving me the death stare. I push his arm off my shoulder and start to walk into school next to him.

"Well I got to go,"He said leaving, I look at him confused.

"I thought you said that you were there if I needed you," I yell at him while watching his retreating back in the distance.

I start to walk around looking for the office when I see a girl leaning against the wall on her phone.

"Hey, do you know where the office is?" I asked walking up to her. She looks me up and down then smiles and nods.

"So, I guess you're new here," she said walking in a direction that I think the office is in.

"Here we are, names Ashley by the way, but you can call me Ash," She said and I nodded.

"Thanks, my names Melissa," she nods then walks away, I walk into the office and I go to find my locker.

I find my locker and start to put everything in it when someone bumps into me and closes my locker door.

"Excuse me," I say and she just keeps on walking.

"Oh it's okay, I wouldn't say anything either if my face was full of botox too," I say and she stops and turns around and starts to walk towards me.

"You slut, do you even know who I am?" She said when she got right in front of me, I can see a crowd of people gathering out of the corner of my eye, I looked at her with a surprised face.

"No, I dont, I'm new, what do you expect me to know everyone here already?" I say and her face got even redder. I heard everyone go ohh.

"My name is Maddison Verbyl, my parents practically own this school." I look at her in the eyes daring her to look away, but when she said her last name I just start laughing "Verbyl, your last names Verbyl, well I guess it fits because you are sure being verbal now." I say and her face gets even redder. She walks up to me and leans in and whispers so that no one can hear, or at least I think she tried to.

"I will make your life a living hell," I just look at her in the eyes.

"I'd like to see to try." I say and she just huffs and walks off.

The crowd starts to walk off when she leaves and I start to walk to my class.

"Wow, you really are a badass." I turn around and see Ash walking towards me I smile at her and she smiles back.

"I guess I am," I say, I guess when I found out I was pregnant and decided that I wouldn't let anyone dictate my life I found out how badass I really am.

I walked into class, luckily for me, Ash was in my class, when we got in everyone started to clap, I turned towards her and she smiled.

"It's because you stood up to Maddison," she said sitting down I sat next to her then the teacher started his lesson.

After a couple of minutes the door swings open and a group of boys walked in, they were all handsome, but the one in the middle caught my attention the most. He started walking to his seat when our eyes met. When he got closer, the corner of his lips pulled into a little smirk.

"Who is that?" I whisper to Ash nodding in his direction.

"That's Trevor Burns, it's said that he's in the local mafia, why?" she said looking at him and then at me with a smirk.

"Because he was just staring at me and then smirked," I say looking back at the teacher who was writing something on the board.

"Really?" Ash whisper-yelled at me and I nodded my head confused.

"Oh, it's because he never talks to nor looks at any girls," she said when she saw that I was confused, I nod my head and we both look back at the teacher. Why would he stare at me if he doesn't stare at any other girl? A little smile tugs at the corners of my mouth when I think that I'm the only girl he's done that to. I shake my head trying to get it out of my mind.

I try to concentrate on the lesson but it's hard when I can feel a heated gaze on my back, burning holes into me when I can't take it anymore I turn around and my eyes are met with forest green ones.

Trevor Burns, is looking at me again, and I lock eyes with him and he smirks and I look away as fast as I can.

I knew this was going to be a long day, I told myself leaning my head back in my chair.
