"Why did you do that?" I asked Eric.
"Because he was too annoying." He answered.
"Do you know Daniel? Why did you call him Demetre?" I curiously asked because if Daniel knew Eric why didn't I heard anything about him in the first place?
"Long story ahead," He denied.
"Can you at least share it with me?"
"Later when you're ready." He remarkably said to me which is so weird.
Why do I have to get ready?
"So why did you take me here in your office?"
Then he showed me some files and pictures of our very own special field.
"This is the results from the President's lab tests, I already studied mine and so I think you should take a read of it first before we make a move in applying the do's and dont's."
Great more readings to do.
"Alright, what about his schedule, haven't they decided yet?"
"I haven't heard one but I think Mr. Van would let us know immediately."
"Okay, then I must get going now." I excused myself.
"Andrea..." Eric stopped me.
"Yes?"
"Would it be okay if I take you to dinner after work?" He asked with hope in his eyes.
I, on the other hand, had to stop and think thoroughly about his actions. I am clearly assuming things but who knows what could be possible.
"What if I say no?" I tried to decline and watch his reaction but to my dismay, his actions started to differ from mellow to an inappropriate expression I expected.
"Then I wouldn't insist so," He simply replied.
What the heck?
That was it? He wasn't going to push me further? I thought...

He's just being friendly and it's clear that he doesn't like you.
So go back to your senses and stop being a cry baby after his rejection.
"Cool, I'm busy too," I sarcastically said and immediately stormed out of his office.
Such a rude person!
I can't help but have the feeling of being disappointed for no reason at Eric. I don't know why I'm expecting something from him to happen but at least we became close together to the point where we started feeling a bit awkward to each other.
Or is it just me?
What the heck Andrea stop being so foolish! No wonder Daniel cheated on you so easily it's because you trust someone too fast!
But still, I'm upset.
"Dr. Andrea?" Called the assistant nurse.
"Yes?"
"The patient from room 202 is requesting if it's possible for them to discharge by tomorrow?"
"I'll check them later since I have to review the patient's diagnosis if it's applicable to leave, tell them that have my rounds by 4:00 pm."
"Copy Doc."
Going to my office I suddenly felt uncomfortable for a reason that I can't explain like something is actually following me from behind but whenever I turn around there's none until I opened my office door.
I stiffened to see someone I am most familiar with from the first day we have met. It was Kayla the Dark angel who attempted to kill me.
I was about to turn back when she lifted me up and placed me harshly into my seat facing her gothic face.
Like what is wrong with her?
"What do you want from me?!" I asked her composing my confidence even though I'm starting to tremble in fear.
She smiled and gently touched my cheeks causing me to hissed when it felt seemingly hot!
What the heck is she doing to me?!
"I am not supposed to kill you now but I do remember someone from your existence." She says.
This psycho b***h is so damn weird that I don't even understand what she's talking about?
The next thing she did was looking deep into my eyes, it is as if she's looking for something to appear or to happen but then disappoints when she couldn't find one.
"Argh! I knew Lucious was lying how can Aria live in this Human weak form she's even too skinny for being Aria."
Aria?
Why does it sound familiar? Do I know someone by that name? I think I do but I can't recall anything.
"Lucious come here you i***t!" Shouted Kayla who was very annoyed.
Then Lucious appeared by passing through my office door.
So that's why I felt like someone is watching me, it was him, Lucious.
"You lying i***t I can't sense anything from her!" Kayla Angrily hissed.
"Believe me I know what I saw and besides Enrique wouldn't protect her if it was not her!"
"Nonsense! Enrique is to busy dreaming over his lost wife that he even thinks everyone he meets is Aria!"
"No, I know what I saw Kayla it is her!" Lucious exclaimed pointing to me.
"Then show me her green eyes!" Kayla demanded which made me remember a scene from the first day we've met.
My eyes turned green from having an allergy! Maybe they took me by mistake because they thought I was really someone else!
What the heck?
"Excuse me I think you had the wrong person," I said intervening in their conversation.
"Shut up!" Kayla snapped.
"Fine whatever." I rolled my eyes until someone knocked on my door.
"Andrea?" Athene called which made Lucious and Kayla stop moving.
"It's the Goddess!"
"Shut up she might hear us!"
"Okay what the heck-"
"Don't tell her anything about us or else I will really kill you!" Kayla held me tight which left a question inside my head.
"Andra can I come in?" Athene asked again.
"Sure wait I'm fixing myself." I pretended and finally, Kayla released me from her spell.
"Listen you are not going to tell anyone that you saw us or else you're going to pay a price," Kayla warned me.
"Why do I feel like I have a favor to return? Do I even know you?" I asked which she turned to stare deeply into me.
"You have unfinished business to return and until I cannot prove your existence I won't stop bothering your soul." She replied that it made me lose my sense until she disappeared.
"Andrea what are you doing?!" Athena rushed into me after I felt my body fell into the floor.
I feel so tired and sad for no reason why I had to feel this in such a way, my eyes were slowly drifting to close until I saw the one man I have been wanting to see.
"I'll protect you now."
"You," I said before drifting to sleep in my dark angels' arms.
