Hidden Hybrid Angel

~ Chapter Seven ~

The next day came and I woke up in my room so dumbfounded. I could not really remember the things that I did nor did so happened yesterday. I took my phone to check the time and I'm so surprised that I woke up late.

It was already 9:30 in the morning and if Athena did not text me about my schedule for today I would've had never gone out of bed. I mean this is the first that I had a very good sleep ever since before in the orphanage, and to tell you it was a kind of great feeling for me that I felt so relaxed.

First I took my cup of coffee to wake my body up from sleeping and after I rushed to prepare myself for work. I wore a pair of my white formal suit and painted my lips red so I could emphasize my profession real and when I'm finished getting ready I turned my television on when suddenly I was shocked by the news.

It's sad that the place where Daniel and I used to go was banned due to some crime that happened yesterday and speaking of yesterday it was so weird that this morning I had received a message coming from Eric when I have no clue about what I did yesterday? It wasn't that much really but it was so sudden of him to ask if I'm alright? I mean did I do anything stupid again?

Turning the television off I finally left my house and get into my car driving towards Sacred Hospital.

On my way there I saw my phone popped out a message coming from Daniel telling me that he's sorry, but I didn't give a damn instead I turned up my music high for when Dua Lipa's song popped out and stick my middle out in front of Daniel's messages.

"..No, I don't give a damn, You keep reminiscin' on when you were my man... But I'm over you, Now you're all in the past, You talk all that sweet talk, but I ain't comin' back"

"Cut you off...I don't need your love...So you can try all you want...Your time is up, I'll tell you why...(I'll tell you why)"

"You say you're sorry...But it's too late now,"

"So save it, get gone, shut up..(Too late now)....'Cause if you think I care about you now..."

"Well, boy, I don't give a fuck...(Boy, I don't give a f**k)"

"You seem to be in a good mood today Andrea?" Athena asked me when she saw me smiling after I finished the operation with my patient today.

"Well, it's just good to be back."

"Back to being single?"

"Back from being happy rather than being broken," I said stating that I am clearly moving forward after Daniel and I broke up.

"Ohh and how did you do that?"

"Well, I just did this morning when I woke up." I happily said.

"Oh really? Or maybe it was because of doctor Eric?" She ridiculously said.

"What? No why would it be?"

"Well because of the both of you was caught together yesterday."

"About what?"

"Well you almost fell yesterday and doctor Eric just saved you in front of Daniel's eyes," Athena answered in detail which made me slowly remember everything.

I also remembered that Eric took me to someplace to relax me but then we left quickly because something bad was happening and after that, I don't exactly know what happened next.

Oh, no wait!

Earlier in the news said that the place both Eric and I went was banned due to the committed crime that happened yesterday and I wonder if it was connected to us?

"Athena do you know where Eric is?" I asked cutting off her daydreaming talks about Eric and me.

"Uh, in his office why?" She asks while having a smile plastered on her face.

"Nothing I just need to talk to him bye," I said and left her there dumbfounded while I rushed towards Eric's office for questions.

I don't why I felt so nervous but I think there is something that we are linked about that case yesterday? Funny how I just forgot that?

When I was about to enter his office suddenly I was dragged by someone I don't know who. I tried to fight back but it was no use because this stranger is way too strong than me.

"Help!" I try to shout but I just failed.

Little by little my sight starts to blur as I gasp for air. I felt like I was literally drowning in the water when in fact I was just on land.

"Lisuare Dormi." The stranger whispered then everything blacked out.

I knew that I was clearly awake but I cannot certainly move. My body felt so sore that it feels so really tired but my eyes have the strong power to open and witness what happened and where am I located at.

The first thing that I saw was nothing but an empty room filled with silence and dark aura. I searched for a clue only when I heard someone is coming and immediately closed my eyes back.

"Is that really his winged mate?" Ask a male voice.

"I'm sure it is but she is quite familiar." A female voice answered.

Who are they? and who are they talking about?

"I'm sure that Enrique will come any time soon to save her." The female said again.

"But what if it is not her?" The male voice asked.

"Then we will kill her." The female answered.

My eyes opened wide when the female said that they will kill me if I was not that person's mate and speaking of that what are they talking about winged mate? Am I kidnapped by psychopaths?

Then the door squeaked open and my hands were starting to tremble in fear but a part of me wanted to fight to see their existence for a reason I don't know why?

I later saw a tall female filled with so many piercings and tattoos on her body. I don't know if I should be angry or not because she looks utterly creepy! She has a thin body, a blonde hair and freaking big dark eyes! I also even notice her lips that were tinted black.

Along her side was a teenage one, was also skinny but has a good image like body. I don't know what courage I have for when I asked something that might even offend them!

"Do you guys need a doctor for theraphy? I can volunteer." I fearlesly said.

I thought it could help them at least but suddenly she slapped me so freaking hard on the face!

"What do you want?!" I yelled.

"I want Enrique!" She angrily hissed which I cannot understand why?

"I don't even know who is Enrique!"

"Shut up! You were with him yesterday!"

"What?! I think you have the wrong girl I was with my co-worker yesterday!"

"Nonsense now tell me where is Enrique!" She insisted while her yes glimmering gold.

Wait! I think I have seen these eyes before! The night when I was driving to go shopping! It has the same eyes!

"I don't know!" I truthfully answered but she held my face with a burning hand which getting more scarier!

"I will kill you if you won't tell me where is Enrique!" Then her hand released a shadow that is consuming my strength. I don't even know what to say when I saw her black wings came off from her back!

The shadow from her hand somehow now became a dark power which my hand is weirdly heating itself too! It's like I wanted to fight back to her but I just can't! It's too risky I might even die!

"What are you!"

"Doesn't really matter now tell me where is my boyfriend!"

"I told you how many times I don't know who is that!" Then she screamed hitting me hard in my stomach which caused me to shout in pain.

"Kill her!" She commanded to the young man along with her side but he seemed so nervous and scared to do so.

"Kayla I think this is wrong-" He says afraid.

"Do it or I'll be the one to kill you Lucious!"

"But Kayla he...he.."

"What?!"

"He's here." The young man barely uttered when I saw how the wall crashed into pieces that had revealed a man with golden eyes and beautiful black wings.

If only he wasn't wearing a mask to cover his face I would have recognized him under his black cloak on.

Slowly walking towards the female who I assumed was named Kayla, he grabbed her tight and dangerously like he was about to kill someone.

"Enrique.." The young man called him while the female just stood there smiling like an i***t who saw her lover from a far off place.

I was about to get scared of him though because I sense that he has an intimidating aura of a dark angel but somehow it vanished for when he said those words that filled me with a hope that I could be saved from this unrealistic fantasy I am witnessing today.

"Give her back to me or death will follow you."
