Cup Runneth Over (Prologue)
It was storming when I walked in to the pub in my cloak, the fire had been happened in the village had been put out decades ago and I had continued to weep my lovers death. For those decades I continued to search for my dear Vespira "I'll have the strongest ale ye have" I say as I paid "what's on yer mind to have ye this bad" the tender said. "Scripture ripped me love away from me arms but ye see, she meant no harm. Our love was pure, 'n they ripped her from me arms." I say "Aye" said the barkeep and got me my ale, soon my behavior changed and I became known as The Highwaywoman and I let rumors run rampant.
I knew one thing, and that was I never aged even I knew not how I stayed young for so long. Soon, however I saw her. She was dressed in black satin and fishnets, she looked just as I remembered except she dyed her hair black. She smelled of roses and pomegranate and sounded just as I remembered. All I could think was my dear Vespira made her way back to me. I felt like I was going to cry as I approached her bu I gathered all my courage and spoke "Is there something on my face?" I say with a smirk.
