Chapter One
"Are you done?" Christian asked impatiently outside the curtain.
"In a minute!" I called as I slipped the skin-tight red dress on. It highlighted my flat stomach and small hips. Not being able to breathe was just a minor flaw, nothing crazy. I checked myself out in the mirror and smiled before turning and pulling back the curtain. Christian’s calm eyes went annoyed and he crossed his arms adding on to the negativity within his body language.
“You want to wear that?” He asked, and I nodded, giving him a little spin. When I faced him, his aura didn’t change.
“Yeah. What’s wrong with it?”
"You look like a slut." I frowned.
"You look like an asshole." He smiled and we both laughed. "Christian, do you really hate this?" I spun around, and he nodded.
"I do." I walked towards him and he shifted in his seat. I sat on his lap, and he sighed. "There are other chairs you know."
"I know. I just wanted to annoy you." I said smiling.
"It's working." He mumbled. Then, arms wrapped around my waist and I was pulled back. He tickled my sides and I couldn't help but laugh. He always knew how to lighten the mood.
"Christian!" I tried to stop him, but he kept going and I pushed him causing me to fall to the floor. I groaned as my back ached. I sat up on my elbows and glared at him. He gazed over my body before reaching my eyes.
"Now that I look at it," he says putting a finger on his chin pretending to think. "That dress looks good." I stood and pulled it down.
"What makes you like it now?" I said putting a hand on my hip.
"Because I saw what was underneath it." He smirked. My face flushed, and I punched him on his shoulder causing him to smile. I turned and walked back into the changing room, looked back at Christian, and winked.
"No peeking." I pulled the curtains and peeled out of the dress. I put my shirt and jeans back on and pulled back the curtain. "I want it." I declared as he stood and put an arm on my shoulders.
"Okay. Give it here." I passed him the dress and he passed it to the cashier when we walked up to the counter. She smiled at us.
"How long have you two been together?" We looked at each other for a moment and laughed.
"We aren't together, just best friends," I said letting my laughter subside. Christian handed her the money for the dress, and she gave him his change back.
"Oh. Well, you two would make a really good couple." She said bagging the dress. "Have a good one." She passed Christian the bag and he passed it to me as we left the store.

"Stop it!" I yelled as Christian tickled my sides. I squirmed as I laid under him.
"What's the magic word?" He kissed on my neck and continued to tickle me.
"Pl-please!" He continued his assault and I was out of breath. He stopped and looked me over.
"I guess I can give you a break." He smirked and got off of me. "I'll pick you up at 10." He said putting his jacket on. I sat up and he walked back over to me.
"Or, you can just stay until 10." I stood, and he smiled.
"Samantha you need to get dressed," He grabbed my waist and pulled me into him. "Unless you want me to watch." I giggled as he kissed on my neck again.
"I wouldn't mind," I said, and he smiled against my neck.
"Be careful what you wish for." He planted one last kiss on my neck and looked up into my eyes. I pushed him playfully and he smiled.
"Get out of here you pervert." He grabbed my waist and I wrapped my arms around his. I placed my head on his chest. We stood like this for a minute before I let him go. He kissed my forehead.
"I'll pick you up at 10." He said before releasing me and turned to leave. I watched him leave my room and sadness filled my heart. My best friend is leaving and taking apart of me with him.
