Untitled Episode
Lena's hands trembled with excitement as she opened the package delivered by the courier. Inside, she found the exquisite suit she had ordered for Darnell, her fiancé, for their upcoming wedding. She had spent every penny she had on this tailored masterpiece, envisioning how dashing Darnell would look on their big day. With the suit in hand, Lena felt like she was walking on clouds. She danced merrily to Darnell's door, imagining the look of surprise and delight on his face when she presented him with the gift. As she pushed open the door, a smile still plastered on her face. Lena's world crumbled around her as she pushed open the door, her eyes locking onto the unthinkable scene before her. Her stepsister, Monica, and her fiancé, Darnell, were entwined in a passionate embrace, their lips locked in a kiss that seemed to suck the air out of the room. The sight was like a punch to her gut, leaving her breathless and reeling. Darnell, sensing her presence, broke away from Monica's grasp, his eyes wide with panic. "Lena, wait!" he pleaded, taking a step towards her after breaking from Monica's hold, trying to stop him from going. But Lena was beyond reason. She felt like she'd been slapped in the face, her heart shattered into a million pieces. With a fierce cry, she launched herself at Darnell, her hand connecting with his cheek in a resounding slap. The package still clutched between her left ribs and armpits. Darnell stumbled backward, his eyes wide with shock, as he sprawled onto the floor. Lena's tears flowed freely now, her body shaking with sobs. She turned to Monica, her stepsister's face with no mask of guilt or fear. Instead, she was annoyed Darnell had run after her. "You... You demon calls yourself my sister!" Lena spat, her voice trembling with rage and hurt. But before she could lunge at Monica, her stepmother and father appeared out of nowhere, their faces stern and unyielding. They encircled her. "Lena, stop!" her stepmother commanded, grasping her arm. "This doesn't concern you. Your dad and I had concluded earlier that Darnell would be Monica's groom, not yours.” Lena wrenched her arm free, her eyes blazing with fury. "Doesn't concern me? You're giving my fiancé to my stepsister!" "He's not your fiancé! He was mine from the start. It just took him a little while to know who he really wants between the both of us." Monica grunted. She helped Darnell up and their lips locked. Their sights drained Lena of her energy, the package fell out of her arm. Her father stepped forward, his voice cold and detached. "We've decided that Darnell would be better suited to Monica. And as for you, Lena, you're going to marry a man who's willing to pay top dollar for you." Lena's mind reeled as her father's words hung in the air like a challenge. "What are you talking about?” "A mysterious billionaire has offered $25 million for your bride price," her stepmother said, her voice dripping with excitement. "You'll marry him, Lena, whether you like it or not." Lena felt like she'd been punched in the gut, her breath knocked out of her. She was a commodity, a prize to be bought and sold. The thought made her sick to her stomach. As her parents isolated her, Lena redirected her scorching gaze at the duo responsible for the deep wound in her heart. "You dare run your tiny hands across my face!" He thundered, glaring at her menacingly, attempting to intimidate her, but Lena stood unwavering and unflinching. Her eyes flashed with defiance, her stance unshakable. "And I'll do it again and again if need be. How could you do this to me?" She faced him, her eyeballs blinking fast. "Moreover, to my step-sister. You chose her over me. Why? Is she any better? We've been together for six years!" She blurted, tears trickling down from both eyes simultaneously. Darnell sneered, his eyes blazing with contempt as he towered over her. "You thought you had my love, right?" he taunted, his voice dripping with malice. "She gave me everything I desired, every pleasure, every comfort. What did you ever give me? You're not even worthy of my affection!" He spat out the words, his lips curling into a wicked, triumphant smile as he revelled in her pain. Lena's heart throbbed painfully, and she clutched it as if to minimise the pain. Tears rolled down her cheeks in torrents. Monica scoffed and put on a wrapper before coming to meet me. "Darnell, show her why you chose me over her." she smirked. "With pleasure, darling," Darnell chucked, and Lena's heart squeezed with hate. He held her waist and turned her busty and well-structured body around. "You see this, Lena? She embodies everything I desire in a woman - stunning beauty, captivating figure, lips that beckon to be kissed, and unparalleled passion in the bedroom. Unlike you, she's not worthless. You have hidden assets, but you've chosen to conceal them beneath unflattering attire, rendering them useless to me." Lena outshone Monica in every physical aspect, but her baggy clothes concealed her beauty. Meanwhile, Monica knew how to flaunt her assets to seduce her man. Lena's gaze glanced at her engagement ring, and with a surge of anger, she yanked it off and hurled it away. "Why propose to me just two days ago, then?" she fumed. "You claimed to love me, making empty promises and spewing insincere sweet nothings." "I thought your father would never give us his approval, but it seems we were on the same page after all." Lena collapsed to the floor, exhausted from crying. Monica gloated as they walked by, noticing the abandoned package. "Oh, look, she even got you a suit for the ceremony. How sweet." Monica's voice dripped with sarcasm as she pecked Darnell on the cheek. "Don't worry, I'll get you a better one, darling." With that, they sauntered out, leaving Lena heartbroken and alone. She knew she had to flee. The thought of marrying a stranger was unbearable, and she feared it might drive her to the brink of despair, even suicidal thoughts. She turned and ran, her tears blinding her as she stumbled out of the room, leaving behind the shattered remains of her heart. As Lena fled the scene of her shattered heart, she stumbled towards her reliable Honda Civic, her vision blurred with tears. She fumbled for her keys, her hands shaking with rage and pain. Once inside, she locked the door and let out a primal scream, allowing herself to release her pent-up emotions. With a deep breath, she started the engine and drove aimlessly, her mind a jumble of thoughts. She found herself at the entrance of "Eclipse," a popular club in town, without even realising she had driven there. The pulsating music and vibrant lights beckoned her, promising an escape from her pain. Lena stumbled out of her car and into the club, her eyes scanning the crowded room. She made her way to the bar, her legs trembling beneath her. The bartender, a friendly face, greeted her with a warm smile. "Hey, beautiful! What can I get you?" Lena hesitated, unsure of what she wanted. "Surprise me," she said finally, her voice barely above a whisper. The bartender raised an eyebrow but nodded and slid a shot of tequila. Lena downed it in one gulp, feeling the burn all the way down. She ordered another, and another, until the room began to spin. Colours blurred, and sounds merged into a cacophony of chaos. Lena saw double, triple, and quadruple, her vision distorted by the alcohol. She stumbled onto the dance floor, losing herself in the music and crowd. The club was bathed in an eerie blue glow, the bulbs casting an anonymous veil over the crowd. With faces blurred, identities hidden. Lena's inhibitions melted away. In this sea of strangers, Lena spotted a lone figure sitting at the bar, nursing a drink. With a sultry swagger, she sidled up to him, her eyes locked on his. "Wanna try me out?" she purred, her voice husky with desire. The stranger's gaze lingered on her, his eyes gleaming with interest. He knew she was drunk, but he was more than willing to play her game. With a gentle yet firm grasp, he pulled her close, his fingers wrapping around her waist like a voice. Lena's heart skipped a beat as she felt the warmth of his breath on her skin. He kissed her until she couldn't breathe. The intensity in his eyes was full of desire. Then he scooped her up and carried her into a room, the whole time kissing her face, neck, and lips. She thought she would melt. He laid her down on the bed, and slowly undressed her, kissing her. Everywhere. Who is the enigmatic stranger, hidden behind the blue bulbs' anonymity. Will Lena's reckless abandon lead to a night of passion or a morning of regret?
