Coming October 4th

Every human has different thoughts between space and the existence of other life forms. Some believe that humans are alone, others believe that there has to be more than just them. Then there are those who look towards the depths of the oceans and seas instead of the sky. Well, what if they were told that the one who believes in other life and the ones who look to the oceans and seas have the right idea? They may wonder what that means.

Well, a long time ago (yes, typical cliché starter) there was another planet that held life. It wasn't in the Milky Way galaxy, but in the galaxy beside it, the Andromeda Galaxy. In a rather particular star system, there were four large planets, two of which held life who just happen to be very advanced, more than humans. A war happened between the two races, and one even lost their entire planet, literally. They fled, and they hid on Earth in hidden caves far underneath Earth's crust. Four thousand years have passed, and they still thrive. It won't be long before their enemies come to seek them out, and it may not only be them that are attacked this time.

Prologue
A lone mermaid watched as the flaming star rose into the sky, knowing it would be her last time to witness it again. Her gaze shifted towards the waters that circle the once glorious island she lies on. Pieces of the land floated off, away from the planet. She, Nova, stretched out on the silver sand. It spread out under her weight. Her eyes closed as she tuned out everything going on around her. A false sense of peace flowed over her body. She was aware of the feeling of being fake, but she acknowledged it with a hopeful desire. A noise pulls her out of her thoughts as she sits up, looking towards the water. Another female who looked similar to Nova surfaced and swam towards Nova. It is Avala, her eldest sister and the empress of the Senilorians. A smile tugged at Nova's lips as she sat up, staring at her sister, who had the opposite expression. "I wasn't expecting you, Avala," Avala frowned and pulled herself onto a rock, revealing a long black fishtail that connects to her lower waist. Legs replaced her tail, along with a white skirt, within mere seconds as she walked over to Nova. "We are evacuating Senilor soon. Why aren't you with us already?" Nova grimaced and perched up, looking up to the crumbling island. "I just wanted to say goodbye to our home... We aren't ever going to see it again, and we can't come back. They killed our main moon, took half of our research team from the other moon, then killed the other half," Nova paused as she rolled over onto her stomach "they killed our parents! They destroyed our planet, and all we can do is run away and hide," Her sister peered at her, a sympathetic expression on her face. She takes Nova's hand in hers and closes her eyes, pressing her forehead against her younger sister's. "You never should have lived through this. Neither should Pharadox and Echo. We must leave, Nova. Let's leave so the Shengro can't hurt us anymore. We can find a new home with Echo and Pharadox and all senilorian's, and make mother and father proud," Nova beamed and nodded. They turn to the star and then to the island. Avala held up her brace as a small holoscreen popped up. "Avala, what are you doing?" Nova asked, tilting her head. Avala looked down at her. "Why don't we take a picture together? Then we can always remember Senilor's last cycles," Nova laughed with a nod as they turned their backs towards the island as the holoscreen flashes twice before taking the picture. Avala grabbed the screen, and the picture materialized up in front of them. "Hm. Maybe we should take another. I look terrible," Nova stated, earning her a soft slap on the back of her head. "Oh, you look fine! Don't whine," Avala replied with a laugh. She grinned at Nova and shook her head. Her frown quickly disappeared. She kneeled to the ground as sand flakes floated above the rest. Nova fixed her gaze to the sky. "You're right... we need to leave," Avala nodded and jumped back into the water. Nova crawled her way back to the water as she dipped down before surfacing with Avala. Nova sighs as she admires their tails. Their caudal fins are gradient turquoise and pointy. The only difference would be the long pelvic fins that Nova has. They both prepared to dive under, but Nova stopped Avala, pointing towards the east. "Avala...look," They both took in the horizon as Nova covered her mouth with a trembling hand and darted over to Avala to grab her arm. "Why... why are they coming back?" "I don't know, but we need to go. Now!" The two senilorian's dove under the water as the purple and black ships of the Shengro neared the planet. The large mother ship of the Senilorians burst out of the ocean, with smaller ship's not far behind.
