"Is she even breathing Elias?"  "yes she is Edward, now shut your hole before I shut it myself with my pistol" "Whoever did this, did this on purpose, it was planned, and she was the bait, Captain," "what you did isn't right Elias, it's messed up" "if you say my name without captain one more time I swear to god" "Ay ay, Captain" "We need to wake her up" "No, let her rest kids" "Stephen the girl got hurt so many times, I bet she never got hurt this much her whole life" "her coming along with us pirates is definitely a mistake" "And who are you both to decide if it's a mistake or not, I am the captain here and I make orders, now leave this room before I shoot one of you, maybe both of you" "Captain's orders, come on Edward, we need to sleep before the sunrise" "And now it's my turn to kick you out of this room, Captain," I said while opening my eyes fast enough to look at him. "you can't be stupid enough to think that I will listen to your orders," said Elias, as he rested himself against the door. his face was tired and dark, yet he looks so good, wearing his pirate clothes and water dripping from his hair. he was chewing on a toothpick, which is a sign of contentment and insouciance. "well looking at you is making me sick, so I would owe you one if you leave," I said. I didn't even bother myself trying to stand up because I know that I will end up screaming in pain. "then look away," he said with a playful smirk drawn on his face. only God knows how much I want to smack that smirk off his face. "I hate you, from the bottom of my heart I f*****g hate you," I said in one breath. "why is that, love?" Elias sarcastically said. what a d**k. "oh don't worry about it, you sadistic bastard," I said as I looked away. the wind slapped me across the face because he was now standing next to me, and the fear that is growing inside me drank the last drop of strength I had. "your face is pale, get up," said Elias, I kept my eyes locked with the ceiling. "as if you care?" I said. he scoffed. "I am not sadistic," Elias said, now it was my turn to scoff. "yes Captain, licking someone's blood while they are shaking from both fear and pain isn't sadism" I answered back, I looked at him and he was smirking. "I was drunk," said Elias, I couldn't help but glare at him. "bullshit," I said, then he moved my legs aside and sat down on the end of the bed. I managed to raise myself a little and lean on the wood behind me, giving me a better look at this bastard. "I am being serious, I was drunk," he said and I no longer believe a word he says. "well, what do you remember?" I asked. I am going to regret this. "Not much, why?" he asked. don't do this Cecile. "well do you remember telling me that my blood tastes really good?" I asked and his smirk disappeared. "or how about making me watch you and that b***h having s*x?" stop it, Cecile. now is not a good time. "wait I have something better, how about me laying on the cold floor with two men pinning me down while a bastard curves something on my skin?" I need to stop. "do you want to know what happens next? well he told me that he isn't here for me, he is here to deliver a message for you, a message that is on my skin, literally on my skin" and when I finished talking, I realized that I said something that wasn't meant to be said. "a message from who?" Elias said and I wanted to slap myself. "no one, no one," I said in a low voice, Elias raised himself and crawled in my direction, and now he is on top of me but not touching my wounds, along with his face that is a few inches away from mine.  "you said no one twice," he said. his eyes turned darker and darker. "so?" I asked, he knows that you are lying Cecile, cut the bullshit. "you are lying," he said, I smirked. "pfft, no I am not lying, why would you accuse me of lying?" I said and the smirk was again drawn on his lips. "did someone ever tell you that you are the worst liar I have ever seen?" he said and I couldn't help but giggle. "And you didn't deny that you are lying," he said and I stopped giggling. "and here I am denying it," I said and he bit harder on the toothpick. "be careful with it, you are going to break it," I said, and he knew that I am talking about the toothpick because he bit harder on it again, but this time it broke into two pieces. he kept them in his mouth, then he looked away and spit them on the floor. then he looked back at me. dear lord this is so hot. "a message from who, Clay?" when he said 'Clay', something told me that he knows something that I don't. "Not until you tell me what's written on me," I said and his smirk disappeared again. "and now you are trying to get under my skin?" he said and I shrugged. "no I am not, I am just offering a deal, tell me what's curved on my skin I will tell you who is the reason behind this," I said. he angrily rubbed his chin with his thumb. "Run," Elias said and I looked at him with bored eyes. "well get off me so I can run," I said and he raised his brow at me. "Why are you looking at me like this?" I asked, and the questioning look never left his face. "why would you run?" he said and now it was my turn to give him a questioning look. "Because you told me to run," I said. then we both look at each other with realization. "you meant the word run is curved on me, right?" I asked and he nodded, so I nodded back at him. we both hid our smiles.  "it's a message from the king," I said and his eyes went darker. "why?" he asked and I shrugged. "I don't know, a person who worked as a guard in the castle is the one who did this to me," I said and he gave me a look that said 'keep talking'. "at first I didn't know who that is, so I took a few drinks with him, and the next thing I remember is that I am pinned down on the ground, first I didn't know who that is, but when I took a better look at his face I knew that I have seen his face before in the castle" when I finished talking, Elias was breathing heavier than ever, so heavy that his chest was touching mine as he breathed in and out. "why would you take drinks from a stranger Clay?" Elias said and I gasped. "I beg your pardon? you dropped everything that has happened to me and only focused on that?" I said, both shocked and annoyed. "I don't know, I should have never let you go out alone," Elias said and now I was truly shocked. "is that an apology?" I said, which caused him to quickly get up and walk a few steps further. "of course it's not," he said and I smirked. "but it sounded like it is an apology," I said and he rubbed his eyes. "get up," he said as he opened the door, ready to leave. "why is that?" I said. his eyes were focused on the ground. "I am taking you somewhere, now hurry up because I don't want to miss the sunset" and when he finished talking, my heart was going to explode. "well since I can barely get up, you may help me stand up unless you want to get out of this room as fast as you could" I warmly said. he didn't give any reaction, he just walked in my direction and wrapped his right arm around my waist, and helped to stand up. "wait, my clothes are clean," I said as we walked outside the room and made our way to the main deck. "and?" Elias said, I looked at him and he was smirking but wasn't looking at me. "and I don't remember changing them," I said, and his smirk grew wider. "oh my lord, you are such a pervert," I said and now he smiling, his smile sent chills down my spine. "not as if I have never seen you naked," he said and I choked on my own saliva. "you.......you never saw me naked," I said. I was hiding my laugh because he looked so funny trying to hide his smile. "can you go down the ladder?" Elias asked and I nodded at him, and I started going down the ladder that led to the sand. and after what seemed like forever. I skipped the last two steps and jumped down on the sand but my legs were quick to fail me, so I landed on my butt. "that's the funniest and worst jump I have ever seen," Elias said from the top, and I was kind of embarrassed. "Can you do better?" I screamed. he took a few steps down until he was halfway down the ladder. he looked at me and winked, and then he jumped and landed perfectly on his feet. right next to me. "that's how you jump," he said as he offered me his hand to help me stand up, I ignored it and tried to stand up by myself but the pain in my stomach wasn't helping at all. "I offered you my hand and you ignored it and now you can't stand up by yourself, what a shame," Elias said and I glared at him. he just crossed his arms and kept staring at me. "well I could use your help now," I said, but he didn't move and I huffed. "It looks like you are capable of standing up on your own," said Elias, and I crossed my arms and pouted. "Say the magic word," he said and I looked away to hide my smile. "I refuse," I answered, then he suddenly clapped his hands and turned around. "well good luck," he said as he took a few steps forward. he won't really leave me, wouldn't he? "good luck? what is that supposed to mean? where are you going?" I asked. he ignored me and kept walking. "fine captain, can you PLEASE help me?" I said and he stopped dead in his tracks and turned around to face me. "repeat that, I didn't hear you clearly," he said and I rubbed my forehead, he's such a bastard. "can you please help me?" I said once again, he walked back to me and wrapped his arm around my waist, and helped me up. "well thank you," I said but he ignored me, and our journey to God only knows where started. ** "for f***s sake, my legs are so tired" I screamed at Elias, he glared at me as he wrapped his arm tighter around my waist and forced me to walk. "We are almost there, now stop whining like a b***h, and don't make me regret bringing you with me," he said and I was slightly offended. "you forced me to walk up a bloody hill while I am wounded," I said and he scoffed.  "I really regret bringing you with me," he said and I scoffed back. "says the one-" I started but I was quick to shut my mouth before I say something stupid. "I am glad that you didn't finish that sentence because I would have pushed you off that cliff and kept walking as if nothing has happened," Elias said and I nodded at him, I think it's the right time to shut up. "We are here," he said as he pointed at something ahead of us, and when I looked at what he is pointing at, I became thankful for the moment he decided to let me join him. ahead of us was a cliff and in front of the cliff was the ocean. "wow" was the only thing that escaped my mouth. Elias let go of me, I wrapped my arm around my wounded stomach and I walked slowly to the edge of the cliff, ignoring the burning pain. "be careful," Elias said behind me, but I ignored him. I was busy admiring the dark blue sky, which is soon to be light blue, the sun was still on its way up.  "no words can describe this" I whispered when I felt Elias's presence behind me. I was about to say something but I closed my mouth when he wrapped his arms around me and rested his chin on the top of my head. as my hair was slowly moving because of the warm wind, I felt like I am the happiest person in the world. but deep down I knew that this won't last forever. "how do you know this place?" I asked him. thinking twice before each word because I don't want him to let go. "I grew up here Clay, I spent half of my life on this cliff, my first kiss was on this cliff, my first time having s*x, my first time having a physical fight with someone and my first time murdering someone," he answered. I didn't bother gasping, it's his life and it's not my place to judge. "how many people have you killed?" I asked, both of our eyes never leaving the sky. "I lost count" he whispered. this is the side of Elias that I would love to see always and forever. "you were really drunk yesterday, were you?" I asked. and his arms got tighter around me, but not too tight. "yes" that was the only thing he said.  "Who are you, Clay? what are you hiding?" Elias asked and I felt my heart drop. "Is your real name even Clay?" he asked and I felt the world around me stop for a second. but I didn't answer him, I kept my mouth shut. "Why does the king want you this bad?" Elias asked and I scoffed. "because I was the little s*x toy he could use whenever he wants" I answered, I didn't lie but I didn't also say the truth. "one day, I will figure you out, you will not be a big mystery after all" that was the only thing he said.  "where is my brother?" I couldn't help but ask him. and ladies and gentlemen, that's how you change the subject. "I don't have a clue, probably with a bunch of hookers and street whores" Elias answered truthfully. "or maybe torturing the life out of some person," Elias said and I didn't give any reaction. "Elia-........ Captain, can I ask you something?" I asked and he hummed in response. "if I asked you to kiss me right here right now, what would you do?" I asked and he took a deep breath. "I don't know, maybe turn you around the kiss the f**k out of those lips of yours," he said, no need for the details big guy. "would you do it?" I asked. stop making yourself sound stupid. "let's find out, shall we?" he said, then he roughly turned me around and smashed his lips with mine. for the first few seconds, I didn't react, but then I started kissing back. I stood on the tip of my toes to reach him perfectly, I wrapped my arms around his neck and his arms snaked to my lower back, pulling me closer to his body. his lips moved perfectly with mine, I didn't want to let him go. I don't want this to end. "I don't hate you anymore," I said as I broke the kiss, Elias glared at me. "I am joking," I said as he smacked him on his chest. he smirked then he grabbed my wrist and pulled me to him, I rested my head on his chest.  "you have a warm heart," he said and looked up at him and smirked. "did you just figure this out?" I asked and he smirked. "you are a d**k," I said and he chuckled. then he looked down at me and planted a soft kiss on my forehead.  "I already know that but thank you for reminding me," he said and I giggled. "and now we will go back and you will return to treating me like s**t," I said but it came out spontaneously. "After what I did yesterday, believe me, I won't," he said and I didn't want to believe him, because deep down I knew that he is lying. or maybe not, who knows? "please tell me you cleaned yourself after you finished having s*x with Lola?" I asked and to my surprise, he laughed out loud. "don't worry, I did," he said and I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding. "that's a good thing because I don't want to kiss her lips instead of yours," I said and once again he laughed out loud. "I promise you, Clay, that after everything that has happened, I won't be treating you the same. I will still act like the d**k I am, but a little bit softer, maybe not" he said and I chuckled. "you could never change can you?" I asked. but he ignored me and took a deep breath. "let's go back to the ship," he said as he wrapped his arm around my waist, and we quietly walked back to the ship.
