Blurb

Lena, a woman who came from the red-light district, married the boss of the most powerful mafia.

For three years of their marriage, her husband never touched her because his heart belonged to another woman.

One night, Lena was sold to an underground casino and harassed by four filthy and vulgar men. Her husband, in another woman's bed, hung up on her desperate calls for help. In her despair, Lena fought back with her killer instincts, which only aroused her husband's suspicion.

Disillusioned with her marriage, Lena asked for a divorce, but he demanded she repay five million dollars or repay with her body, which he craved despite his loathing for her background.

Yes. In his eyes, Lena was despicable, shameless, and wanton, but he still wanted her.

Everything changed after Lena left resolutely. Daniel realized he had loved the wrong person all along. The girl he had been searching for all these years was actually Lena!

Mad with the desire to win her back, Daniel sought her out, but this time, she was no longer the woman who would bend to his whims.

Prologue: Another Woman's Name
The Southern Legion camp was surrounded by high walls. At the entrance, mercenaries stood guard, their eyes sharp as hawks, vigilantly scanning the surroundings. The air was thick with the scent of sweat, oil, and gunpowder, an assault on the senses. In the center of the camp lay a massive training ground, its surface worn and uneven. Mercenaries engaged in relentless training, the sounds of shouts and clashing weapons mingling in a symphony that seemed to come straight from hell. The entire camp was shrouded in an atmosphere of tension and oppression. Lena stood by the window, gazing at the familiar scene outside, and sighed. She had been married to Daniel for three years but still couldn't get accustomed to life here. Though her husband was the leader of the legion, few knew much about her. This was because of her lowly origins and the underhanded means by which she had secured the marriage. Everyone knew Daniel's heart belonged to another woman. That girl was named Rosa, who had grown up with Daniel and was cherished by him like a treasure. Lena had never met Rosa but often heard her name from others. They liked Rosa's noble lineage and virtuous character, deeming her more suited to be the lady of the camp. "Maybe I should end this marriage." Lena thought, her eyes drifting to the door. The room was silent except for the ticking of the clock, each sound resonating with her heartbeat. Today was their wedding anniversary. As time passed, Lena's thoughts grew chaotic. She was wondering if Daniel had encountered danger or if he simply didn't care about the anniversary. Her musings were cut short as the door was kicked open. Daniel, reeking of alcohol, had returned. He walked towards Lena with steady, aggressive strides. His tall, imposing figure exuded an irresistible charm, drawing Lena's gaze to his broad chest and muscular arms, every line of his body radiating strength and masculinity. His handsome face and deep, mysterious eyes were like a magnetic force, pulling her in. As he approached, Lena could feel the heat emanating from him and smell his unique scent mixed with gunpowder and male pheromones, making her heart race. She had to admit this man held a fatal attraction for her, which was why she had decided to marry him in the first place. Lena was lost in Daniel's allure. She didn't notice Daniel's proximity until he lifted her chin and kissed her. Her mind went blank, her body responding instinctively despite the resentment she harbored towards him. Rationality told her to push him away, but the familiar warmth and touch made it impossible for her to refuse him. Her hands hovered in the air before slowly lowering to wrap around his waist, returning the passionate kiss. "When you're silent, you remind me of her," Daniel murmured, ending the deep kiss and resting his head on Lena's shoulder, his breath warm and heavy with the scent of alcohol. But his words instantly froze Lena's heart. "Who?" Lena's face turned cold. This bastard was thinking of another woman at a time like this! "Shh, don't speak. Just stay quiet," Daniel commanded, pressing a finger to her lips. His cold fingers and commanding tone irritated Lena. She brushed his hand away, only to be kissed again. Daniel led her to the bed, swiftly removing her outer clothes. "Stop, don't do this..." Lena protested. But her words trailed off as Daniel stripped off his shirt, revealing his toned abs. His tan skin glistened enticingly under the light. Lena was momentarily entranced, only snapping back to reality when his warm hand grasped her waist, reminding her of their intimate situation. Despite his drunken state, Lena didn't want to refuse him. She had longed to embrace this body for so long. Her hands caressed his chest and moved down his firm abdomen. Their breaths quickened and their bodies heated up. Daniel's hand gently stroked Lena's back, the warmth making her shiver slightly. His lips trailed kisses along her neck, sending shivers down her spine. Lena moaned softly, her arms encircling his neck. Just as her heartbeat quickened with affection, she suddenly heard Daniel murmur in her ear, unconsciously calling out the other woman's name. "Rosa, I love you." In an instant, it felt like a bucket of ice water was poured over Lena, jolting her awake. Lena withdrew her hands with a blank expression. Daniel, however, didn't want to stop and pressed her down on the bed. Lena struggled, trying to push him away. "Stop, don't touch me!" But Daniel didn't cease his actions, and Lena realized their difference in strength made it impossible for her to break free. Anger and grievance surged within her, tears streaming down her face. Her tears seemed to snap Daniel out of his drunken state. He paused, his hand gently caressing her cheek, his fingers tracing her tear-streaked face with confusion in his bleary eyes. He did not understand why she was upset. "You bastard, go find your Rosa! Don't touch me again!" Lena turned her head away, rejecting his touch. Hearing that name, Daniel suddenly sobered up, silently put on his clothes, and left without a word. Watching Daniel disappear out the door, Lena couldn't hold back anymore and finally broke down in tears. "Bastard... Why do you treat me like this?" This relationship was wrong. Determined to end it, Lena made a decision. "I want a divorce!" Just then, her phone rang. Glancing at the caller ID, she found it was her gambling-addicted brother, Ron. In moments of vulnerability, people tend to be soft-hearted. Despite knowing it wouldn't be good news, Lena answered the call. On the other end, Ron's voice was shaky and tearful. He was speaking incoherently about being in big trouble at the casino. If no one came to save him, he was sure he'd die there. "Lena, please, save me! They said they'd chop off my hands!" Ron begged repeatedly, his voice trembling with fear and pain. Lena thought that having his hands chopped off by casino thugs might actually be good for Ron. "If you don't come, I'll have to find Daniel!" Ron shouted. Taking a deep breath, Lena mustered her strength, deciding to go check out at the casino. She doubted Daniel would help, but she also didn't want him to find out. It was too embarrassing. She was already in a pathetic state. Little did she know, a meticulously-designed trap was waiting for her.
