Chapter 15 At the edge of the Lindgren homestead . . . Robbie, Ronnie, and Reggie squatted beside a tree at the edge of the meadow, far enough into the woods James or Melissa couldn’t spot them with their night scopes. The moon had gone down and the sky was dark except for the faint light of a few stars. A shot rang out from inside the house, which was followed by a flurry of gunfire from the woods. “Well, now we know where they are,” Reggie whispered.
