Chapter 18
At the Lindgren homestead . . .
Reggie insisted on coming along to the neighboring city. He loved exploring. He also loved browsing around in the Walmart and HEB stores on the last trip and couldn’t wait to see what new things they would find.
They didn’t run into any opposition on the last trip, but he suggested they go loaded for bear regardless. This included plenty of RPG’s (rocket propelled grenades). He also told two of the boys to load the generator. He wasn’t certain they would need it, but told them he had some ideas about how it could be useful.
Sam and John said they would stay with the ladies. Everyone else wanted to go. Most of them had never seen the city and since they had no idea about what kind of hostility they would run into, they decided more was better.
