Chapter 31
Robbie, Ronnie, and Sean scoured the city for two days looking for Marcia. Midday on the third day, they spotted the truck a few blocks up, headed to their right. Robbie pressed the accelerator hard, but when he made the turn, Marcia was not to be seen. He scoured the area, but their efforts to find her were in vain. Close to dark, they headed back to the Farm.
Robbie cleaned up first and went out to the bunkhouse where the pregnant ladies stayed, while the other two got their showers.
“We heard you were here,” one of the girls said. “We weren’t sure you’d come out here to see us.”
“I wasn’t sure I wanted to. You know I like all of you . . . it wasn’t you . . . it was Sandra and the fact that I was forced . . .”
