Chapter 4.
I'm tempted to break off from the kiss but I just can't.
I don't have the energy to!
My whole being has been drowned into the kiss and it's like there's just us in the world.
His kisses are magical!
He knows how to work magic with his tongue, and he knows just how well to move his lips against mine.
I have kissed a fair share of men before but this, this is something else.
We kiss for a good number of minutes and when it hits me that we're still in the school's parking lot, I break off immediately.
There's disappointment in his eyes and I don't get why.
"Your lips tastes so nice!" He compliments catching his breath.
It's was so intense, I'm also trying to catch my breath.
"What was that for?"
"We are a couple, Alexa!"
"A fake couple, Carson!" I answer in between clenched teeth to keep my cool.
"You play by the rules right? Just look at all the people staring at us. This is how we make the whole story believable."
Flashing my eyes around us, there are so many students staring at us. Some even taking photos.
"I don't get it. The dare was for me. Why are you the one trying to play by the rules and make it all work?"
"Elise is crazy. I'm trying to help you out."
"I can agree with you on the Elise part. But just so you know, Carson, I don't need your help in this. I got this."
"That's what you tell yourself."
I roll my eyes and groan loudly.
"Are you beginning to fall in love already? That's the only way you can help me. Just hurry the f**k up and fall in love with me. I'll be happy to break your stupid heart after the wedding."
I make to leave after saying that, but he stops me pulling my hand.
I don't even turn to look at him.
"You know what I like more than the kiss we just shared? You!"
When he says that, I turn slowly to face him and there's this evil smirk he has on.
"You like me? That's a joke. Try a better one next time dude!"
Without saying a word, he pulls me closer to him, kisses me on my forehead and tells me goodbye!

I haven't been able to concentrate in my classes today.
Carson is a puzzle. He is the puzzle I've been trying to solve the entire time.
I don't know why he is helping me win the dare.
That should be my business. He is supposed to make it hard for me. Not that I'm not happy he is cooperating but, I mean, goodness!
He also kissed me.
Like, he initiated the kiss.
I'm trying to ignore the feeling that kiss gave me. If I'm not keen enough, I'll be the one falling for Carson instead of him.
Joke!!
I hate losing. I especially hate losing to Elise but I don't think I have a choice here. I shouldn't take games this serious.
"A penny for your thoughts!?" Ava yells in my ears.
"You startled me Ava!"
"You're coming home with me?"
"Did we come to school together?"
"Who put you in this awful mood? I just wanted to make sure you won't get mad at me if I leave you here!"
"I have a boyfriend to take me home Ava! Just go!"
"Fine! Fine! I'm leaving."
"Bye, love you Ava."
"I know you do."
She winks and leaves.
Walking past people in the schools hallways, I have one thing in mind.
To find Carson, and break up with him.
I can't do this anymore.
"Alexa!"
Goodness!!
I groan before answering.
"I'm busy Nolan."
"Carson is in the swimming pool."
"How did you know-"
"Law classes are-" I don't let him finish.
"Oh, yeah!"
In our school, each department has its own lecture halls and I was headed to the law side.
I don't have any friends studying law so it's obvious to Nolan, I was going to look for Carson.
Without a thank you, or another word, I turn to go to the swimming area.
I don't know Carson so well. I don't know how his schedule is like so, I wouldn't know that he goes swimming on Monday afternoons, after his classes.
A few minutes later, I reach the pool area and I'm told by their instructor that he is in the changing rooms.
I take my phone and scroll through my i********: account as I wait for him.
I am so nervous right now.
And I don't why.
I was able to break up with Sam without having a fight but with Carson; who isn't really my boyfriend, I feel like it's going to be hard.
"Hey there girlfriend!"
He greets standing in front of me and when I stand up, he bends a little, smashing his lips against mine in a very sweet passionate kiss.
I throw my phone in my trench coat pocket and snake my arms around his neck.
One of his arms goes to my waist while the other unbuttons my trench coat. I don't even care that there could be people watching us because I am so lost in the kiss.
I don't know for how long we kiss, but I enjoy every second of it.
"PDA much!!" Elise exclaims from somewhere behind me making me stop the kissing.
"Are you ready Carson?" She asks.
"Yeah! We have to pass by a clothes store for Alexa!"
"For me? Why?
"You need to change." He says it as an order.
"Why do I need to change? Nobody dictates my dressing."
"You can't meet my parents in a booty short. My mum will go crazy and my dad will probably call a hundred priests on you."
"What?"
"You didn't tell her in the morning?" That's Elise.
"I didn't know how to."
Confused, I ask:
"Wait... What are you two talking about?"
"Remember the dare, about you being his girlfriend and marrying him? You're going to meet his parents for that."
"What?" I yell.
"Look, Alexa. I got you. I promise you will be alright. You just have to show up, for them to see you. Have dinner with us, and we will be back before you know it."
"You realize that we're supposed to discuss these things first?"
"I'm sorry that you had to find out this way."
"Not about the finding out. I can't believe you are going to introduce me to your parents and I know nothing about it. Elise here, knows everything." I complain again.
"The stores will be closing soon. If you don't mind please, can you two argue about this in the car?"
"Shut up Elise!" We both shout at the same time.
"I'll be in the car waiting!"
She goes ahead leaving me with Carson. I give him a scary, questioning look and he lifts his hands in defense.
"I've never done this before Alexa. I don't know how to go about it."
"I have plans for tonight and I'll be busy with school tomorrow." I answer with a straight face.
"You don't have any plans tonight and you don't have any class until three in the afternoon tomorrow."
"How do you know this? You've been stalking me?"
"I'm your boyfriend. I should know all about your schedules!"
Sighing, I scoff. "Yet I don't know yours. We're going with Elise?"
He nods.
"What the hell?"
"She is my best friend Alexa!"
"I know that. But going with her? You're unbelievable Carson!"
"Let's just go and get done with this."
He suggests and I shake my head in disbelief.
Then I think about the break up.
"There's something I want to tell you Carson!"
