A knock on the door woke Louis from his thoughts. The man immediately headed for the door. Previously, he kept his cellphone in a drawer.
When the door opened, Lindsey was standing in front of her bedroom door carrying a tray of food.
"I'm not hungry, take it back." Louis refused indifferently. When he was about to close the door again, his movements were defeated by Lindsey's feet. The two of them stared at each other, until finally Louis gave in and invited his sister to come in.
"Why are you so pushy?" Louis grumbled from behind his little brother's back.
"I'm just curious, where have you been all day?" Lindsey responded by asking a question. Making Louis chuckle in annoyance.
"Don't interfere in adult matters, you're still small. Go to school well so you don't disappoint Mom and Dad," Louis admonished his sister.
"I know my limits, don't worry about your little sister's future. Just worry about your future which looks bleak. Aren't you replacing Dad in the company now? So your responsibility is no joke. You must have strong shoulders, to carry the burden of many people's hopes." Louis froze. Lindsey, who is actually his younger sister, can give very wise advice. The man felt embarrassed and small in front of his little sister.
The girl is only in the 3rd year of high school. Louis felt like he had been hit hard by reality.
"So, where are you going today?" Lindsey repeated her question again.
"Looking for something that's been bothering me the last few weeks," Louis answered ambiguously.
"What's more annoying than mom," muttered Lindsey quietly. But Louis still heard it clearly.
"Don't talk to Mom like that, she's just too worried about you. That's why Mom seems very protective of you. You are the only daughter in the Snowden family, Mom loves you very much. She is our mother, whether you like it well or not. Good or not , you have to accept reality." Louis advised his little sister firmly.
“Stop antagonizing him, it's not good.” Lindsey rolled her eyes in confusion. Louis always defended his mother, he didn't really hate her.
"She's your mother, bro, not my mother!" Lindsey answered annoyed.
"Lindsey! Watch your mouth!" Louis gasped in disbelief at his sister's words. But seeing Lindsey's shocked face, Louis's heart became sad.
"Sorry, Lindsey," Louis said guiltily. Then he pulled his sister's body into his arms. "I'm didn't mean to yell at you, you have to know, Mom loves us very much. Be kind and polite to her, Mom will definitely be gentle with you." Louis was silent, then kissed the top of Lindsey's head.
"Stop rebelling, Lindsey. Listen to Mom's advice even if you don't like it. Just listen, there's no need to always respond to Mom's words with words that hurt her. Is that okay?" Louis looked at his little sister expectantly.
Lindsey sighed in resignation, then nodded slowly.
"Promise not to fight again, starting tomorrow morning. How about it?" Louis demanded, still glaring at his little brother.
"I don't promise, if Mom don't start a fight, then I'll just keep quiet. Never mind Bro, I'm not here to make a one-sided agreement with you," said Lindsey in an annoyed tone. . .
"Eat or later Mom will scold me," Lindsey walked out of her sister's room with an annoyed heart.
Louis closed the door to his room again, then walked towards the bed. His body was tired from driving all day. Louis closed his eyes to rest his increasingly racing mind. Before he fell asleep, Louis asked him to dream again about Savana, the woman whose name he only learned this afternoon.

"David! Help me.! Help our baby..! Daaviiittt!!" Louis woke up with sweat dripping all over his body. Enough! He couldn't take it anymore. Louis got up and took his jacket and car keys. The man slowly went down the stairs, but when he reached the end of the stairs, his steps stopped.
"Sir? Where are you going at this time of night?" Maria, the head maid at home, started Louis with a sudden voice. Louis looked at the butler with a straight face.
"I want to meet my friend at the club, don't tell my parents. Can I trust you, Maria?" Louis asked with a probing look.
"Of course young master, I happened to be getting water in the kitchen. Then I heard the sound of footsteps coming down the stairs. It turned out to be young master, please leave before madam wakes up." Maria said with a friendly smile then turned around while carrying the teapot in her hand.
Louis stared at Maria's broad back until she couldn't see it. The man rushed to the garage. He wanted to go to where Savana lived. Maybe there Louis will find the answer to all his nightmares.

Knock knock knock
Louis hugged his body, the man tried to ward off the cold that pierced his skin. He knocked on the door three times, but the owner of the house still didn't open it. Louis was starting to get restless and impatient.

Savana looked at her guests in surprise, it was already 2 am. Why was this man at his door? And in a situation that is….chaotic.
"What took you so long, I'm cold." Louis barged in without permission. Savana glared sharply at her guest's rude behavior.
"Why come to my house, sir? This is not the right time to visit," Savana was annoyed to see her boss's unethical attitude.
"Where is your daughter's room?" Louis responded to Savana's words with a question, without caring about the host's annoyed face towards him. Savana growled in annoyance because she felt ignored.
"Why are you asking where my daughter's room is? Don't tell me you want to stay here?" Savana asked carefully. The woman looked at Louis with a probing gaze.
"I'm tired, the journey here isn't close yet. Let me rest tonight, I'll explain the purpose of my visit tomorrow morning." Louis spoke in a low tone, very different from his usual arrogant appearance.
"Over there, the bed is small. Just sleep in my room, I'll sleep with my daughter." Savana finally gave in, she hoped that tomorrow morning the man would leave without having to explain anything.
He didn't want to involve himself in any trouble.
Savana returned from her room carrying a blanket and pillow. He saw his guest sitting back on the sofa with a tired face. The man closed his eyes, as if he was thinking about many problems. Rich people always think about things, he thought mockingly.
"You can sleep now, I'm sleepy too." After speaking, Savana entered her daughter's room. Mercy's room is next to his room and there is a connecting door between the rooms. Louis stared at Savana for a moment before entering the woman's room.
Savana's room looks neat and clean even though its size is not large. It may only be the size of a bathroom, but it feels very comfortable. Louis took off his shoes and jacket and got into bed. While lying down, Louis inhaled the vanilla scent on the surface of Savana's pillow. Very calming. Louis was sure he would sleep well that night.
Louis hugged Savana's bolster pillow tightly. He again inhaled the distinctive fragrance remaining on the pillowcase.

"Mom, whose breakfast is this? Isn't Aunt Joa going to Guarda?" asked Mercy, looking at her mother in surprise, because there were 3 plates served on the table.
"Good morning..." said Louis to the mother and child.
"Mom?" Mercy looked at her mother demanding answers.
"He.."
"I'm your mother's lover, do you mind darling?" Savana's eyes bulged sharply. Savana's thoughts were so impudent that she screamed in annoyance. But Louis just blinked his eyes innocently and smiled mischievously.
"Really, Mom?" Mercy's innocent face made Louis very annoyed. The man kissed Mercy's round cheek with pleasure.
"Hihii... uncle is ticklish..." Mercy giggled in amusement, her cheek being teased by Louis. The man was so excited that he unconsciously bit Mercy's round cheek.
"Mom, help me..." Mercy screamed for help from her mother, but Savana didn't budge. The woman continued her activities of making breakfast. His heart was troubled, if it wasn't the boss he would have mixed the man's food with laxatives.
"Okay, let's have breakfast. Uncle wants to go home soon after this, and he's not Mom's boyfriend. This man is Mom's boss at the office," explained Savana, glancing sarcastically at Louis. She wanted the man to cooperate with her.
