Ungrateful wins

Many of us have unknowingly defeated numerous battles in our lives. Yet, we often feel as if we are not trying hard enough simply because we are not where we want to be. We tend to overlook and fail to appreciate our small victories due to our lack of observation and our focus on more significant aspirations. In fact, many of us are already living in the reality we once prayed for just a year or five years ago. However, we hardly notice or remember this because the more we achieve, the stronger our hunger for more success becomes. Let me take you back to the times when we were eager and impatient to get our hands on mobile phones. Some of us wanted them so desperately that we would steal, work, or beg for them. Others risked everything just to use a phone, mostly for games and videos. Some even prayed, saying, “God, if you give me this phone, I will not sin again,” and made wishes for it on special occasions. Many saved money just to buy one, all because we wanted to use a phone. Now, it's rare to see anyone without a phone, even children. We all have phones, and the harsh truth is that they no longer feel special. The games and videos that once fascinated us have lost their charm. Some of us even wish we didn't have a phone because of the high cost of data subscriptions; yet, it’s too late to turn back. Many would rather spend money on data than on food. That’s life for you. There are still many prayers and wishes that have been answered and granted. If you take a moment to calm down and reminisce about the past, you’ll realize that God has been good to you and that you are indeed improving, growing, and winning gradually. I want to encourage you to keep dreaming and working toward your goals. I assure you that everything you desire in life will come to pass. No dream is too big or too small; as long as you can picture it in your mind, it is achievable. The car, the money, the relationships, the peace of mind, the house, and the careers we all crave will eventually come to fruition when the time is right. Don’t think you are late; you are not. God's timing is different from human timing. Keep dreaming and working towards your goals, and one day, you will surely smile forever. Remember: God is helping us.
