THE UNFORGETTABLE SUMMER

After a long year of studying it was now time for our summer. That day in the morning, we went for our shopping because we were going on  vacation. Our journey started at night so that we could beat the traffic. we reached at a particular place where there was no network so the GPS could not work and the road did not have street lights. We- me and my family- were alone along the road. Our car was moving at a slow pace since we were almost running out of gas. We were hoping that there was a gas station near by. We came to a tunnel which was pitch dark inside. This made us so terrified and there it dawned into our minds that we were lost. We had no other option but to go through the tunnel since we could not make a U-turn. The tunnel was filled with junk and flies all over. Suddenly a zombie appeared in front of the car. My dad hooted to scare of the zombie but the hoot seemed to awake the other zombies and with in a jiffy we were surrounded by group of zombies. My father was so afraid to drive and my mother was on probation so he could not drive .This is because sometime back she had fallen into depression since her mother- my grandma- had passed away. That only left an option of me and my brother. I did not have any other option even if I had just started my classes driving classes earlier that month. I took the wheel and started to drive. The zombies were still hanging on the car. I drove as first as possible trying to make them loose there balance. suddenly our escape was cut short when we found a rock at the end of the tunnel. when I tried to hit the breaks they did not work. We just sat there waiting for the worst to happen. We hit the rock and our car was thrown up in the air. The zombies fell one by one. Luck was our side because we landed safe and sound on the other side. we could not believe our eyes because on the other side was day light. When we looked at our watches and it was 11:00pm. suddenly.....
