CHAPTER 29The store looked pretty quiet when Abby got back downstairs. A few guys over on the bean bags playing Assassin's Creed 2, and a few others browsing the aisles. Scarlet was working on new inventory behind the counter where she could keep an eye on everything while she worked. Abby heard a sharp laugh and saw Rictus and Grim were back, chuckling over some McFarlane's Twisted Christmas figures in the locked case, probably Mrs. Claus with her candy cane pole dancing and skimpy outfit. Always popular with some of her customers.
Scarlet looked over as Abby joined her at the counter. "Hey, looking better boss. Almost back to yourself, and I totally love that shirt. I still think it was wrong what he did to Wash."
