CHAPTER 30Abby got back to work, glad of the distraction from everything else going on in her life. She took a cart with the new inventory that Scarlet had received and walked the aisles of the store shelving the comics first, then the graphic novels, trading card expansion packs, and last of all the other merchandise, action figures, and statues. It wasn't complicated work, but she enjoyed being out in the aisles surrounded by the bright covers and bold text. A few guys still lounged on the bean bags playing video games on the bank of consoles while a couple others pored over the racks.
