“I’m just having a good time with you, you know, just the two of us.” She seems a bit flustered, as if she's having difficulty articulating what she's feeling, but I'm not about to judge her emotional state.
“I'm having a good time with you too.” As I say the words, she lights up and does a tiny little dance with her shoulders and I recognize her need for validation and to hear that her company is enjoyable.
“Azura!”
We both turn as Blake walks up, his arms wide open and ready for her.
“Just remember, your father loves you, even if he's not good at showing it.” I say the words as a gentle push, and Azura nods her head before walking over to her father and giving him a hug. He presses a kiss to the top of her head, hugging her tight, before nodding at me in a gesture of thanks. Al
