♣️20 - New Friends ♣️
I spent most of my time with Haze, but with Hannah gone it was a kick in the gut. And Haze had finally found a girl he liked and hung out with her.
And I had one option left. Tracey. She took me to see her friends, under a railway bridge, hidden from sight by a colorful, graffiti painted wall.
They weren't the type of kids I usually hung out with: they were wild. Tatoos, piercings and dyed hair. And they weren't called emos or classed as freaks; in their school they were the cool, experienced group who had control over everything. People were scared, and fear meant power.
The first introduction was awkward, and I was definitely not welcome.
"Guys, this is Josh, my boyfriend. And Josh, this is Ron,"
Ron, a guy with a lip ring and crew cut hair nodded at me. He seemed the hard, not to be messed with type.
"That's Amelia," she said continuing the introduction. Amelia was a caramel skinned, short girl with dark hair, which had bright pink ends. She smiled brightly, and I guessed she was pretty friendly.
"Logan," she carried on. Logan was the smoker, who barely gave me a glance.
"And Yoli, " she finished, pointing to a dark haired, handsome guy.
Tracey was definitely the odd one out. All these people looked damaged, with a silent and stony atmosphere around them. And Tracey was...funny and bubbly, the perfect girl next door with the blonde hair and high cheeks.
But as the weeks passed and as I met up with her friends more, I saw the real Tracey. The sad girl, the one who could fit into thug group.
I never understood her, and I knew there was something she was hiding.
