The words Damian said to me were hurtful. The fact that he called me ugly did not bother me but the fact that he was the one who said it. If someone else had said those words to me, it might not be this painful, maybe.
I watched him leave and then sighed. I sat down and wiped the tears at the corner of my eyes.
"You should not take what Damian said to you to heart"
Kelvin said to me and I raised my head to look at him.
Though I felt hurt by the words Damian said to me and had taken it to heart at some point, I forgave him. I can't say why. I just could not dislike him for any reason or stay angry with him.
No matter what he says to me, I could not get angry with him. And even if I do get angry with him, I can't stay angry with him for long.
