I stared at Damian and then at Kelvin. There was silence as I tried to think about what to say. I tried as much as I can to remember what he had said in the meeting even if I can't remember his last word.
It was like my head and mind had suddenly gone blank. What does he expect me to say?. He glared at me and I stuttered.
"I... I-i..."
"You've not been listening?"
Damian said calmly and I sighed.
"I-i'm sorry"
I muttered and I heard him sigh.
"Kelvin, I don't want her in our next meeting. Get someone more competent and serious"
He said and I felt sad. I should have listened to what they had been saying.
I placed my hand on the table and sighed. I feel so ashamed of myself right now. I watched them talk about other things. As usual, Damian was brief and precise.
