Chapter 60Matthew stood at the sliding doors in the living room looking out. “I have an idea,” he said cautiously.
“Give it up.”
“We could have a small wedding sooner if we don't have to bother with a lot of plans.” He looked at her hopefully. “That is, we need to come together on this.”
“Right, no huge wedding, just something nice for our one and only day.”
“How many people would you invite?”
Rachael mumbled names to herself while counting on her fingers. At least twenty.” She looked dubious.
“Wow,” he said as she watched his mind work, tallying up those he would invite. “Besides family and close friends, I'd be remiss if I didn't invite at least my construction supervisors and Dad's crews too.”
