Chapter 19
Autumn
Autumn’s alarm went off the next morning. She groaned as she quickly silenced it and continued to lie in bed. Rocky had been right, she had easily been able to get back into reading. So much so that she had stayed up most of the night engrossed in a thriller that Rocky had recommended.
When she heard Brody’s feet hit the ground, she dragged herself out of bed and got dressed. When she stepped into her jeans, she felt a soreness from her and Rocky’s quickie in the library which caused her to blush. She had wanted him to stay the night with her after, but he insisted on going back to his own place. It made no sense to her.
