Jeff noticed her staring, "It's just Oaka. You-".
"I know it's Oaka," she snapped, "Focus. This is part of the game. Remaining vigilant and killing motherfuckers". She smirked, "Alright"?
He nodded, "Cool".
She pulled out two kunais, "Let's try to find a car or something and move one. That way you can keep playing the game, get to the pro leagues, make your money, and make Dani happier than she is with Logan".
"Ri-," he said just as a mugger tackled into him.
Jaivva got in the mugger's way and drove her first kunai across his throat. Another mugger jumped over, grabbing Jeff's g*n, only to be yanked by the ankle by Jaivva and stabbed in the back a few times.
She flipped her head up, staring around, "Okay Jeff. Can you like, be a bit more vigilant? We need to get through this".
"Sorry".
She stood up after killing the second mugger, "Don't be sorry. Step up. You're the leader".
He nodded to her sigh, "so where do you think we should go"?
"Do you see anywhere we can get a car from"?
Jeff blatantly smiled until he saw a friend, "Hey! Hakken"!
Hakken spun around a few times, trying to find the name caller. It was when Jaivva called "Hakken" that she found them.
Hakken walked up smiling, wiping her hands into her pants, "What's up"?
Jaivva snapped her fingers, "First, love the outfit. You look like a Tobirama from Naruto".
Hakken spoke in a deep voice with a stern look, "On a scale of one to ten, how do I look"?
"Perfect ten," she answered, "But we need to know where we can get a car, or carriage, or something to take us to our goal".
Hakken looked over, "I mean, I can help. I don't mind. They actually do have cars this theme. But they are expensive".
"Oh really?" asked Jaivva.
Hakken nodded, "The studio has to make some money off these events. But that shouldn't be a problem for you guys".
Jaivva placed a hand on Hakken's shoulder, "Okay, sooo, go ahead and take us there please. We need to hurry because people are trying to ban Jeff".
"Oh wow," said Hakken, guiding them into the crowd, "Who is trying to ban you? I haven't heard of people trying to do that in years".
"What do you mean?" asked Jaivva, staring at everybody walking near, "And can we try to avoid crowds? I have my machine g*n on me and can't exactly use it in crowds without being a d**k, so".
"Right," said Hakken looking for a more clear route, "Basically back in the days it was different. I wasn't exactly playing during those times much. But like Mimi, Kiki, Logan, Carter, Mike, Pattie, Teddy, they could all tell you about it. People would get banned all the time by other players. They were different then".
"So how do you know about it?" asked Jaivva, with two knives in her hands again.
Hakken answered promptly, analyzing the routes, "We're just gonna have to move quickly. Everywhere is crowded. Anyway, I used to play a little in middle school. But I didn't play hardcore until High school. It was bad in middle school. My parents complained a few times".
Jaivva ducked her head side to side, "Oh wow. What did they do to you"?
"Yo, how far is this?" asked Jeff.
"I mostly got jumped for being whatever. But it got better. All of the old players that are still here did a lot to help clean up the place. That's why everybody wants to join your team".
Jaivva backed her head up, "Huh"?
"Oh yeah. Like, a bunch of my friends wants to join but Logan said 'no'. Also, the Paragon Sisters and El Chales aren't taking in any new people. So we are left without a decent team to go to. Nobody else really has a chance at making it to pro".
"That's so weird," said Jaivva, "I know Logan wants to make it and I know he was just recruiting people".
Hakken smiled, "Yeah, apparently we're not strong enough".
"Yeah, he denies a lot of people," said Jeff.
"It's right around this corner," said Hakken, pointing over.
"I mean," Jaivva stretched her neck, "I don't mean to be rude, but are you guys weak".
Hakken chuckled, "Well, it's not that we're weak. It's more like we're just not as powerful as you guys. Nor as smart".
Jaivva frowned towards the car center, "Yeah, but he can train you guys. So it doesn't make sense. Him and Dani trained me".
Jeff walked right towards the Oaka managing the car dealership, "Alright! Let's see what I can get".
He scrolled through a menu with Jaivva looking over his shoulder, "Get something durable. We'll be going through rough terrain".
"Can I join?" asked Hakken as Jeff selected the car.
"Sure," said Jaivva, "And if anything we can talk to Logan or even Jeff the leader here can recruit you".
Jeff paid no mind, waiting for the car.
Jaivva smacked his shoulders, "Did you hear me? Hello".
Jeff looked over, "Yo"?
"Hakken is going to help us. And if he does good, you can recruit him. If anything we'll just have Logan train him".
Jeff nodded, "I mean, I'll run it by Logan first. Like, I don't mind either way. But if Logan already denied him, then it doesn't make sense for me to hire him".
Hakken held a stiff smile before answering them in a casual soft tone, "I'm a girl".
Jeff and Jaivva were both frozen shocked by the revelation. Their attention barely broke away when the car was brought out.
