With the leopards now scurrying, Jaivva had to admit she would look good in leopard print. She grabbed the second spear that she left on the ground and guided the cubs to a bush. Using a nearby rock and the rope she made earlier, she crafted a one-hit slingshot. And the bird in the tree was her target.
Its little red eyes watched her stalk it with the slingshot swinging in hand. Crafty as it was, as soon as the bird flew away it was struck dead by her slingshot. After grabbing the dead bird, Javvai yanked the feathers out. The cubs were grateful for letting them eat the carcass.
In contrast to their feast, Jaivva was thankful for the thick branches laying around for arrows. Sap pouring from the tree to stick the feathers in place. Thin tree skin to weave more robe. The broken rod from her used spear was still usable to craft a bow. Her hasty nature got it done in minutes.
Logan's voice echoed in her mind, "You're lucky this isn't real life. No way you would've actually crafted all those weapons so fast if it was".
"Shut the f**k up," she said before jumping up to a noise.
Nothin was there nor rustling. Even the cubs sat idly l*****g their paws. Noises mingled, triggering her nerves. It could've been anything. It could even be the poachers. Jaivva looked up the mountain. There was practically a 100% chance she was going to run into those evil men. Not to mention the wildlife. Beady eyes staring back at her from the cubs forced a decision.

Jaivva snuck them through halfway up the mountain. A few fights were won. But the cubs were still in danger. Luckily her plan was coming together.
Looking down she saw the poachers driving in the forest. Their heavy tires destroyed so much forestation. Their bullets carelessly took the lives of the wildlife for a few bucks. It was time to finish her journey.
She led the cubs into a thick tree. They were practically invisible due to the excess leaves. Both were proven to be good listeners. Trusting them to stay put, Jaivva climbed down and set traps around the tree.
Ready to head out, she shot an eagle. A dagger, kunai, spear, a bow, and 17 arrows were all she needed to take care of the poachers.
//////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
"One, two, three," she counted in her head, listening to the vehicles driving up.
There were three jeeps. If there were roughly 5 men per jeep, then there were approximately 15 poachers. It was a bit more than expected. A few traps would have been nice if time permitted.
Jaivva's stubborn a*s was simply ready to get it on.
Fully concealed in dirt and vegetation for camouflage, Jaivva remained behind a bush. Sound was her only guide to finding the enemies. A loud stump echoed near.
Rising to a pivot on her left foot, Jaivva maintained a perfect firing posture. The jeep entered her peripherals. Her shot was well-timed to fly into the jeep.
The driver was struck in the neck while laughing.
Everybody freaked out while swerving in the vehicle. Blood squirted on the passengers as they were yelling. The jeep itself crashed into a tree.
As everybody exited the vehicle with their rifles ready, the two other jeeps rolled up. Jaivva shot a second man in the head.
"Take cover!" yelled one man as he ducked on the other side of the crashed jeep.
One man shot in the forest without aim. He was easily shot dead by Jaivva.
Seeing where the bow shot from, the men in the second jeep fired in that general direction.
Jaivva low crawled away, avoiding gunfire. Bits of debris picked up. Nothing too terrifying. Once she was completely safe, she shot another man from the crashed jeep. Nobody realized he was dead due to focusing on the shooting. She waited.
The mean of the jumped out to check the brush for dead bodies. They need confirmation on who the assailant was and if they were still a threat.
While the men of the second jeeped were looking around, Jaivva snuck across the wide-open area. She was just in time for the third jeep to drive by without noticing her. The clear view of the two survivors from the two jeep was perfect.
One survivor watched the men search while the other looked for his buddy. At first, he thought he was standing somewhere. After a closer inspection of the ground, he spotted the guy dead. He stumbled for the words to yell when a shuriken landed in his throat.
His fall alarmed the other man. As soon as he looked at his dying friend, Jaivva kicked his head into the jeep and yanked her dagger through his neck.
It was a shame she didn't know how to use leaf sights. Their guns would've been useful if she did. No matter, she knew her next move.
She glided past the jeeps unnoticed. An arrow was ready. Four men who were searching were fixing to head back.
The first man rose his head over to an arrow hitting his forehead.
Another man ran up with his rifle ready. Jaivva gripped it away and stabbed her dagger into his lungs.
He screamed firing his g*n into midair. She spun him as her shield.
A third guy shot the friend by accident. It made it easier for her to use his g*n to shoot the third guy in close range. It jammed on the second shot.
The fourth man jumped to the side for a clear shot.
Jaivva threw her dagger, hitting his legs. In the time it took the main to scream his pain, Jaivva was already within arm's range.
She kicked the dagger further inside and beat the crap out of the man. He grabbed ahold of her arm, but she wrapped her legs around his. After dragging him down to an arm hold, Jaivva Twisted his arm to allow herself to grab her dagger. Keeping control of the man's arm, she pulled herself up to stab his throat.
The work wasn't over. She retrieved her dagger and the hidden spear. Before heading off for the third jeep, she took a peek inside the two jeeps. There laid a beautifully well-sharpened machete. One that she easily swapped her spear for.

The third sat in the forest. Nobody was in it. Jaivva looked around, but their guns were all gone. The area was open and exposed enough. Nothing looked damaged nor affected in any way. Except for a branch in the distance by some vegetation. It appeared as though it was chopped.
Her bow stayed ready approaching the tree to investigate. A bullet struck her leg. Hitting the ground, Jaivva realized it was a trap.
A man popped from behind a tree, firing at her. But she shot back, hitting his chest.
Neither gave up firing. Jaivva's aim was just better to hit him three more times.
Four more men catcalled her as she limped herself to the tree line. Trees managed to block each shot from the men. Losing her to the treeline itself was a headache.
One man hopped in and backed the jeep to his three friends. The tire blew out to a sharp tool that Jaivva had thrown down from their trunk. All four were determined to kill her. They ran with their guns into the treeline. One carried a machete and another held a pistol.
They patroled in a column. The third one got by an arrow. The first shot his rifle directly at Jaivva. The second ran in aiming his pistol. She was already out of sight again.
The second man kept aiming his pistol looking for her while the one and fourth man were covering him with their rifles. A noise caught his attention. Jaivva's machete cut off his arm.
The fourth man shot as the first man ran up with his machete. His trampling gave off his position, enabling Jaivva to slice at him.
He deflected with his machete and called his friend. She swung at him anyway.
As soon as the fourth man popped around to shoot, she kneeled and threw her dagger into his throat. Looking back, the first man's rifle was aimed at her face. A full-grown panda crushed him down from the head.
After glancing at the dead poachers, Jaivva looked deep into the panda's pretty eyes. Its soft roar seemed to have begged a tight hug from her. The tears that fell couldn't express how glad she was to finally be with a panda in peace.
////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
Jaivva brought the panda, along with four others, back to the tree. She first disabled the traps before letting the cubs down. The panda removed their ghillie coverings, l*****g their pretty faces. Just the sight alone made the adventure worth it.
Unfortunately, they left for the top of the mountain. A faint noise was heard behind Jaivva. She spun quickly to face this possible threat.
There stood the spirits of the pandas that died at the beginning of her quest. Papa panda nodded his head, releasing a light that granted Jaivva the panda pact.
They let out cheerful growls for her success and disappeared. It was a remarkable journey for her. One that inspired her to take a trip to an actual zoo or a safari to see real pandas.
In the meantime, she had definitely earned herself a skimpy leopard outfit.
