Hakim shot out his remaining orbiting ice balls at three oncoming mines, "Hey Jeff! There has to be somebody you pissed off".
Jeff aimed his g*n around, "Literally bro, I have no clue. I'm cool with everybody".
"Clearly not with these people".
Vanessa was stepping towards them when she noticed a weird string of lightning rise up, "Whaaat is that"?
The string of lightning spun steadily in a circle. They ran out of its radius to find themselves within another. It was clearly a trap that would likely chop off their feet. This time it got close. Easy enough, they hopped over it.
A light shined in Jeff's eyes, "Yo, what is that"?
Hakim realized whatever it was, it was distracting, "Don't let it distract you. Keep watch of the ground".
Vanessa stared into the light. It was clearly a diamond reflecting the sun's radiance. And just like that she nearly tripped down some stairs.
Hakim slammed ice at oncoming mines, "We need the team"!
"Bruh, where is Logan to fix this?" asked Jeff.
Vanessa rose a finger, "Ah-um, Jaivva is on vacation. Dani is not here. Logan is missing. Aaand, we can't find Andres".
Hakim jumped off the remaining steps, "So they timed this perfectly".
"I mean bro, it's just a game! I don't know why people get so serious"!
A giant card flew towards their faces. Vanessa pulled Jeff down whereas Hakim simply ducked. He shot an icicle at an oncoming mine from their rear. He took the extra moment to look under the floating crystal where he saw a grown man with glowing hands and eyes.
Vanessa fired her shotgun with her left hand and blocked cards with her sword. A see-through diamond encased Vanessa in a prison.
The titan formed many cards. They each spun in place. No matter how hard she tried, Vanessa couldn't move. The air within the crystal felt like glass rubbing into her skin. Tearing into her eyes. Despite the lack of movement, she coughed up blood into the ground.
Hakim grabbed Jeff's arm and ran just before a row of mines came near. They halted in time to run in a different direction, but they had to first duck under a giant card.
Luckily, a normal-sized card flew past them, hitting Vanessa's prison.
"Release"!
Another flew by, hitting the mines.
"Detonate"!
Lastly, three more were thrown at the incoming giant cards.
"Freeze"!
Ice erupted, causing the giant cards to fall. The mines deactivated. Best of all, Vanessa was freed from her prison. She fell gasping for air, stabbing her sword into the ground.
Icicles shot from the ground, hitting each of the titan's flying cards.
Faith yelled, "Let's go"!
Hakim shouted, "Vanessa! You have to move"!
Hearing him triggered her to run back. Yet while running, Faith yelled for her to look out. Vanessa was within the radius of two strings of lightning, rotating pretty fast.
She jumped over one while Faith threw a card to hinder the other. Vanessa got by, running alongside Faith to catch up to the boys.
More cards flung at them of which Vanessa countered with ice attacks. They ran into a building and out onto another road. Everyone was practically exhausted.
Faith stood straight, "Does any of you know how to drive"?
Jeff answered, "I'm the only one in the team that knows how to drive. But I have driving auras".
Vanessa c****d her head, "Eh"?
Jeff wiped his forehead, "I think I need to quit the game for the month".
Hakim shook his head, "Then they'll come after you next month which will likely be an individual-based theme".
Vanessa asked, "How do you know it's an individual-based theme"?
Jeff continued, "Bro, let's just go home today and com-".
"Hey!" shouted Faith.
Her voice calmed down, "I can get yall a vehicle to fight these things. But yall need to get with it".
Vanessa stood with her hands clasped in front of her.
Jeff held a hand out, "Look man, it's just a game. It's not this serious".
Faith threw her hands, "That's fine. Do you want to win or not"?
Vanessa looked right into his eyes, "Yes"!
Jeff nodded while Hakim added, "Or else you'll have Logan and Andres after you".
Vanessa corrected him, "Aaand because you, Jeff, want to keep playing with your family and friends. Buuut if you don't, you can teelll us like Hakim did".
Jeff nodded, "I want to win this. I want to win this. Beleive me. It's just, this is a lot".
Vanessa continued with their eyes locked, "This is fine. We will win and make it to pro. Now let's go".

"Where did you get a mini-tank from?" asked Hakim.
"Anuli," she answered as Jeff sped the mini-tank out on the road.
Vanessa sat in a chair, controlling the long shotgun up top with a first-person view down its scope. Good thing she practiced with Dezzy. This was definitely not as easy as racing. Regardless, she remained alert throughout Jeff's crazy driving.
Hakim alarmed the team that the titan was approaching. A speedy ADDRAC was given to Vanessa. She rotated her oversized shotgun towards the general direction where the gambler was going.
Mines were steering clear of the tank. After all, they couldn't do real damage.
Finally, the titan reached its long, lanky arms into the road to pulled its body forward. Vanessa aimed in and shot the thing.
The second it was struck, she fired another round in the head. The titan laid dead. Its cards vanished into smoke.
Jeff was cheering, completely unfocused on the road. Hakim sensed something underneath.
All sounds were muted to a whoop as the Isekai Game System qued in, "Warning: please fasten your seatbelts. You will be engaging in a stunt".
Everybody buckled up with the regular seat belts and extra harnesses that shot out.
Vanessa looked around at the worried faces of her teammates and Faith, "s**t".
That whooping noise that faded that sound away vanquished for a loud bang that rang the brains in their skulls. The explosion from underneath was strong enough to send the mini-tank toppling over.
Definitely, this was among the worse beatings Vanessa had ever received. It wasn't even like a moment to react nor think. Every passing second was a blow to her head that painted her vision red.
Those harnesses appeared nonexistent. Faith's body trampled like a rag doll within each flip of the vehicle. After a few skids and flips, the mini-tank landed upside down.
