My Secret

My name is Emily. I am 17 years old. I will be 18 in a couple of days. I am a werewolf living in the human world. I am living here with a woman I call my mom. Her name is Lily. She is not my biological mother but she has raised me as if I were her daughter since I was born. She is human but she knows about the world of werewolves. She has taken me in to keep me safe and to keep my secret. My real mother has sent me here in order to keep me safe from some of the Alphas from the packs. If they found me and found out who I am, it would be terrible. Lilly only knows one part of my secret. It is the best way to keep me safer. She recently found a way she thinks will keep me even safer, but I am skeptical and unsure about this idea. My mom, Lilly, is getting married today. She is getting married to the Alpha of the New Moon pack, Alpha Drake. They met at a meeting of Alphas not too long ago. Lilly is allowed to these types of gatherings to keep up with what is going on in the werewolf side of the world to help keep me safe. Alpha Drake lost his true mate a couple of years ago in a rouge attack. Rouges are wolves who do not belong to a pack anymore. They are very dangerous and should be avoided because they are never up to any good and will usually end up in someone dying. Alpha Drake and Lilly seemed to really hit it off and have decided to get married and we will be moving in with them first thing tomorrow. It is going to be a big change because we are moving across the country. All I know about where we are moving to is that it is surrounded by forest. Lilly will not tell me exactly where. She thinks it will keep me safer if I have no clue where I am going to be living. I disagree with that thought and have demanded from her several times to tell me where I am going to be moving, but she is stubborn and is sticking to her guns. I was even desperate enough to ask Alpha Drake. He wouldn't tell me either.
