“A new board, since the old one couldn’t follow the rules.” It was a brilliant idea, and it would let them keep their business. Eli would still be able to buy their meat, people would still need to eat, and Romeo would still be able to buy the things he wanted to have.
Fala took a step forward. “We could insist on half the chairs being filled by breed. And they’ll need a new sheriff…who could be breed as well.”
