Jed arrived at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel at the scheduled time. He went up the elevator to the top floor, captivated by the opulence of the luxurious hotel. He thought if this deal went according to plan, he would live somewhere similar. ‘Who knows, I might find a nice Thai woman here instead of two-bit hookers.’ He thought and checked his extra piece of equipment was functioning. He smirked and thought, ‘who said that crime doesn’t pay.’ The elevator stopped. He got out and walked a short distance along a carpeted corridor.
