Valentine smiled, leant forward, and said, “We have a deal, Jed.”
He held out his hand, and shook Jed’s, as did Miguel.
“Give me your bank details,” said Valentine, taking out his mobile phone to call his bank.
Jed had set up a bank account in Cambodia under an assumed name and he gave the details to Valentine, who authorised an immediate transfer of $500,000 to the account.
Jed smirked and thought, ‘This time, when they pay money into my account, I get to keep it.’
Miguel called the Mexican bodyguard who brought in more drinks and they toasted the beginning of a new partnership.
“Let’s eat Jed, and then we can conclude this deal and let you get back to Cambodia,” said Valentine, smiling.
Relieved, and now feeling safe, Jed slid the small g*n back into his todger pack.
