Part I
"Monsters waited to be woken by the call of heroes"
Leigh Bardugo- Crooked Kingdom
...
This story was written to explain some details about our future. One where chaos reigns, thanks to the consequences of human actions and of the gods' actions, too.
It is narrated through a series of documents based on the diaries of most of the characters and translated by the specialist of translation, Mayeri Spathi.
We hope that with this, we can explain how everything happened. As well as analyze events and find a solution (if there is one) to our mistakes in the past.
Finally, this is in honor of the fallen, whose names and story will always be remembered and never forgotten.

The sound of his hasty footsteps echoed in the desert corridors of that building. He has to escape before they find out about his betrayal. He has to disappear. His life depends on it.
He went out through a door that had a sign for "Emergency Stairs". He didn't want to go by the elevator 'cause it was too slow. He has to hurry up. A paralyzing fear had him nervous, disoriented. He slipped a step and fell 5 steps down the stairs. He didn't feel the pain because adrenaline rushed all over his body, but he quickly put himself together, and continued down the stairs.
He remembered his family, whose lives depended on him, and especially the object that he was holding.
A suitcase. And there was something inside that would change everything.
Running, he reached the emergency exit.
His heart was pounding fast in his chest, his breathing was ragged and his hands were shaking when he opened the old door.
When his feet touched the outside ground, he could almost taste the freedom, his life. He ran to a car parked in the building across the street and got into the car without hesitation.
Almost there, he had almost escaped. He turned on the car, ready to escape, but something in the back of his head paralyzed him. Something cold. A shiver ran down through his spine. His eyes looked in the mirror and there he saw him.
The Hitman.
"You got here so far" he claimed in an overactive way.
The shot was never heard, but the glass ahead was tinted with a scarlet red.
A hooded man, dressed in black, came out of the back of the car. The murder weapon was kept in his jacket pocket, and in the left hand he was holding the suitcase. Slowly he walked toward the building, satisfied with his recently completed task.
